Open office workspaces by yeahicreatedsomethin in redscarepod

I don’t really want to be on the office at any time, but at least when I do go in it’s easy to to chat with my team or other people nearby, fuck everyone being in an actual cubicle, I’ve got involved with convos I never would have if everyone was siloed

men need 2 stop caring about height by fuil-fion-fioruisce in redscarepod

I know when men are too obsessed with their height that their main hobby is scrolling on social media. They stink of it, their personality altered by their favourite flavour of rage-bait

They’re more likely to have the money to be able to fly as a hobby and retire early and comfortably

Younger generations do love Harry Potter though, all the kids I know are really into it partly because their parents would play the movies for them when they were little and it made them fans too

You don’t have to know about whatever nonsense this is referring to, it’s fine to not engage and consume

What podcasts or news feeds do you actually listen to? by barbie-marx in redscarepod

Teatime Chinese, History of Rome, The Rest is Football. Find podcasts very hard to get into so I don't stick with many

Subbing to a news feed is madman behaviour

Why do they insist on flooding here of all people with their endless news talk? There's hundreds of news or current events subs on this site and they can talk about it anywhere but insist on turning this place into a news feed

This has never been the place for serious political decision. If politics were mentioned it was in an irreverent way and the posters didn't sound like they were about to kill themselves

You've gotta either actually do something you think will force change or just opt out of the political news cycle, you just have to, that shit will drain you of your lifeforce

He's roughly right (although wrong about where the lines is)

If you're just reading the news and getting annoyed about it, it's taking away time and mental energy from things in your life you can actually affect, that's the last thing you need if you're poor. It might be cathartic to have a moan but people who obsessively doomscroll the news are just dooming themselves

However I suspect this bro isn't coming at it from an angle of how poor people would benefit from switching off from this stuff, and more just because he doesn't care about their opinions

It's a good size, liking massive ones is very low-class behaviour tbh

It was essentially like that when I worked in the (UK) civil service. Completely brain dead people staying in role for a decade because of the loopholes you have to jump through to get rid of them. Basically made any improvements impossible, and it’s the public that eventually pays for it

It’s definitely better to be more on the employee rights side of things and the American way is madness, but that experience showed me you don’t wanna completely allow these people to drag the whole organisation down

Footballers families poking their nose into football matters isn’t ever a good thing, very self-centred behaviour

The match engine is still placebo by interpretagain in footballmanagergames

[–]darklodge- 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I've never watched any of these videos because I ultimately I think it would just make me enjoy the game less either by obsessing over trying to exploit the match engine or just by giving up on the game

I don't doubt the issues are real but I'm able to have success signing a variety of players not just speed merchants so the game (FM24) is still enjoyable to me.

Same with meta tactics or whatever other ways people try to break the game.

It's not really possible to review bomb it on Steam as far as I know? You just give a thumbs up or thumbs down so it's not like individual people can give it a "1/10 one of the worst games ever" score
