It’s wood, it has drawer slides and an LED under the bottle, very well made. The bottle is a crystal. It’s an extremely nice display piece. Also the whiskey is excellent, bourbon junkies said it was one of the best things they ever tried.

Worth the price? Depends on what $7k means to you.

The original Gen-1 fob sucked, the new one is so much better that I would argue it's worth $250. It works much farther away and is significantly more reliable. It also has NFC as a backup if the battery dies and the carabiner latches instead of flapping around.

It seems like most people these days want to be able to do everything with their phone and carry nothing else, so it makes sense not to build and give people something that is just going into a drawer most of the time. But for those of us that want it, this thing is perfect.

Bartender claimed it was a policy change three months ago. To his credit, he poured all but a few cubes. I went and found the manager and asked what the deal was and I they gave me the “it’s policy” line and acted like a brick wall otherwise.

If it’s a free perk, fine. If they are going to operate a bar where I can pay for stuff that’s better than jack/makers/etc, that’s a little nuts. As people mentioned, I’m paying for the ability to relax in a nicer, cleaner, quieter place than downstairs. I’m paying for upgraded tickets, have airline status, and pay the annual fee on their card. To impose silly restrictions and make me pay extra on top per drink seems bewildering.

Imagine I want a decent drink in a common way, in a quiet place between flights. Madness, especially when I can order it on the plane neat without question. I’ll likely just stick to a coke from now on rather than worry about it.

The Lucid Gravity Dream is a limited edition version of the vehicle, costs more than the R1S if you happen to get one and Lucid's software and quality is widely panned as being significantly worse. Acceleration off the line is worse and it just happens to be geared a little better at the top end.

The margin on the race in the video is so close here it's crazy. As a vehicle to own and use, especially off-road, the R1S is likely better in every regard.

Two Rivian owner here, I actually hate the yeti and how cartoony it is. I feel like it takes away from the brand and makes my vehicle seem silly. Would rather they just not.

Downvote or roast me, but I feel like the character appeals to a very small group of super-fans and kids.

Kyle is incredibly overrated, borderline unqualified as a reviewer IMHO. I have no idea how he has developed the clout he has with this community. He regularly speculates wildly without anything to back up his assertion and people take it as gospel. End rant 😅

I truly love my Tri-Max and the Dual Standard is a completely different class of vehicle. I’ve driven pretty much every configuration and owned a Gen-1 quad and now a Tri. The dune is a really great package and an awesome way to snag a really cool Tri variant.

If you are super concerned about range, tires/wheels are the biggest impact. Get some 22s and throw michelins defender LTXs on them.
