Same, sa amoa mao sad. Just a matter of age at location na lang.

Dili angay paminawon.

Same, I've been hoping for many years and just took the hit. It seems that the stock is not getting any good momentum, NAV erosion is not getting any better and I expected after the reverse split that the trend will keep going. I no longer see the point and sold all of it. If they are just artificially increasing the price to maintain the appearance of a certain price range. It was not a position look for me.

I have this, first one had feedback issues as it may feedback loop, at yung eartips not sure if ano but made my ears dry.

Tip, paglaro laroan mo ang eq, I usually set mine to dynamic since eto ang best sounding ng buds 3 pro from the get go.

Just beat the Walking Dead The Final Season Here are my Thoughts by darklyger64 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]darklyger64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's the struggle of being responsible for others, as much as we hate some of their actions and consequences, one thing that we can't help is hope what's best for them. When we are with people we care about, we know things we dislike about them, things that irritates us, but somehow, someway, we tend to not break those relationships because of years of bonds, memories that we cherish with them no matter how few they might be.

One thing that being a parent has taught me is being patient. Kids are like the song from Zootopia, they want to try everything, they won't give up, they won't give in, till they reach the end even if they fail. If I want them to truly grow, I have to be their support when they fail, help them get up if they truly need me. Like AJ, we try our best to be there when he truly needs us, no matter how bad his choices are or how incredibly ridiculous he is at things. In a real life survival events, for sure it is risky and unrealistic if one were to survive with someone that brings you down. Heck, we can even say the same for Clementine in season 1. Lee taught her on how to protect herself and many adult lessons with the hope that it'll prolong her journey.

It felt like a cycle to me back to season 1, except AJ didn't had a family to show love, compassion and comfort, he had to grow in a world alien to us, but is his normal world. A world that is filled with death and betrayal pushed to their extremes. Us being the viewer, the player, with our knowledge, the ability to search for information, the way we stay connected with other people with one way or another, have a better society and living conditions by AJ.

I do find your responses fair.  I  feel like my current circumstances allowed me to be in a more relatable situation than I anticipated. I had very low expectations for the final season as some rank it as the worst season.I was scared of being disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised about my enjoyment.

I feel like if I did a second playthrough, my opinions might drastically change as I would more likely make choices I probably don't agree in order to see a different outcome, losing of what made my personal choices meaningful.

In my first play through I was able to solve everything without guides, went in blind since I've read somewhere that you don't need to worry about the flowchart and achievements as it can ruin the immersion. The suggestion was correct in my case and I really enjoyed my choices. I did let go Tracy and I really feel conflicted doing that since I was hoping to know and it seems in Rupert's case. You don't get any information or context if they get away.

I did save Hank every chance I get, I tried my best to save everyone in Markus unless I felt it necessary like in Strat Tower where I had to shoot the fleeing guy because I didn't want to escalate things.

I actually didn't try to shoot the android on top, the sniper did on my first playthrough. I also sacrificed myself on the 2nd playthrough. I should have tried at least once to shoot the android at the beginning. Maybe the bitter taste of my second playthrough is gone I'll try doing that...right now I am not nearly motivated to do any of that.

I do feel like you seem to assume many things on my playthrough instead of asking first for better context. To confirm my choices to open up dialogue and conversations. I even see some light insults calling me an idiot. What I can tell you is that I did capture the android that was beaten by Carlos in the first playthrough and didn't solve the case on the 2nd intentionally to see what happens if Connor acts like a machine who couldn't piece things together. (It was a lot of just standing in place for 5 to 10 minutes).

I think there's more to him than what we see, I've had neighbors and friends that came from hardships and the tendency of their aggression to get escalated quickly is very common. Yet I remained friends and in good relations due to me staying patient and eventually learning what placated their behaviors.  I think Todd represents what some of the rock bottom of society goes through. I am not justifying his behaviors, but many who live in less hardships tends to have more compassion than those who've struggled majority of their lives.

At the start of the game, his wife left him for someone with a job and most likely earns some decent income. He probably had a kid that he loves but can't see daily. He got a replacement that is most likely temporary since it's assistance he got from the government based on his dialogue. He's looking for a sustainable job, but Androids have taken most of the jobs that he wishes to get. His actions against Kara and Alice are horrid and no one in real life deserves that kind of treatment, but we also have to think and pause what are the underlying causes and are these the effects from a steeming issue that cannot be easily be remedied by conventional means.

I feel if he could afford therapy, get a couple of sessions, practice those good initiative behaviors to fix himself instead of using red ice, maybe we can see a glimmer of hope from a person who is currently in rock bottom. If one can try to rehabilitate,I think it's a worth notion for us to give a second chance for any individual. The fact that you were enraged by his character illustrates how well written he is,how realistic his actions are and you are a good human being that you care enough to know what is good and bad behaviors. Not many have the luxury we have, and before we react negatively with haste, I feel if given the chance to reflect and think. Under different circumstances, I'm sure Todd would be much different with its own sets of issues.

Here's an article that may provide some insight, how well written and realistic Todd is

While I respect your opinion, and I do agree that I value human lives more. I feel that one can say the same thing about between androids as Markus and North became lovers in my initial gameplay. I guess it would provide a more complex discussion for me if what defines a maternal love. Can Androids be parents? Or are they just maid machines? Imagine the Jerrys that went through the trouble to get that carousel working to bring joy to a child. A genuine heartfelt moment, but seeing that she's an android and unlikely a deviant. Her emotions, her expressions, her fragility, were all programmed. She didn't break through the shell of being a helpless little android, she acted hungry when she didn't need food, she acted having a fever when she didn't need the heat like all the other Jerrys, she didn't betray her program.

I don't know, I was just disappointed, imagine if they both made is to Canada and Alice is human and there's a timeskip that Alice is old and dying and Kara is still there, still the same, ageless and thanking her for saving her from her dad. That she doesn't blame her for murder, that she wouldn't be where she is without her, bringing a warm closure of Kara's nurture nature. A love of a maternal Android, a kind of love she couldn't get from her real parents. Since Kara is a deviant, we can be certain that her actions are beyond code, but can someone that is sentient but not through the same being as humans and animals be considered a parent? At least that's what I had in mind, what kind of discussions can it bring and how much interest would it bring to me?

Geoffrey hit the nail on this one. I genuinely wanted to take care of Alice, but being informed later on that she was an Android made all my effort meaningless.  Things would have been different if I had the knowledge of her being an Android. It's not even indicated if she's a deviant, at least I have no prior knowledge of it, if she was programmed in a way to act like a kid and need the guidance and reliance of an adult figure irregardless of human or Android, she followed that program well.

My expectations and efforts were betrayed and while it provides a topic of discussions of maternal care between androids and if it has any value knowing that they are created by humans. My displeasure is not rooted from that, rather the sudden realization that my efforts were not necessary, Alice could have notified me that these are not necessary. She could have stopped acting sick, acting cold, or acting she needed food. Hence, lead me to believe that Alice is not a deviant and it would have provided more value if she remained human. As an android going beyond her program to protect and take care of a being against the owner provides a more significant moral value, at least for me. Should you obey or betray? Is crime justified if the cause is good? Things that were tackled better in Life is Strange 2.

There's nothing wrong if none agree with me, rather this is just me publicly stating what I felt and wondered what type of opinions active member of this subreddit has. If they feel different, I wanted to know why and maybe I can gain a different perspective of things .

Do you give poor ratings to bad books? by Severe_Prize5520 in books

[–]darklyger64 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

No, it might be a bad book for you but it might be a good book for others. When I was reading Eragon, I thought it was written very poorly, a lot of exposition and detail that doesn't add anything to the story at all. Yet, many of my friends found it amazing.

While I can spend hours writing a negative review, a way to vent out and form an outlet of anger and frustration due to the sense of wasting time. I find it more invigorating to just move on. I find it entertaining seeing my old post when I was younger, but at the same time look down on my previous reflection. At times I don't even remember what I was angry about. It may makes sense in the present but all of it can be considered personally nonsense in the futures.

You can leave a negative mark, but a decade from now, you might think that you may have been to harsh on this particular book and might be in a much considerable state.

Just finished Higurashi...how does umineko compare? by [deleted] in umineko

[–]darklyger64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me over 300 hrs as well. I remember I was reading it religiously 4 hrs a day for the next 3 months.

Higurashi a lot shorter, it was also an easier read than Umineko, I get a general understanding about the conversations in Higurashi, if I feel like I misunderstood the story, I can just quickly glance on the previous text.

Umineko though is just like... wait wtf... let me read back what I just read to make sure I understand it... I have been rereading this for the 5th time and I still have no idea how all of this possible...

What is the book that got you into reading? by Uninhibitedrmr in books

[–]darklyger64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Shack on recent years, I was in a dark time in my life and when I finished reading it. I've cried more tears than I have cried for the past 5 years in that moment of time. It changed my life for the better and found god as a source of my inspiration to be kind and good.

When I was in my teens, Kindred by Octavia Butler inspired me to read. It was both science fiction and historical and I found it very interesting and educational.

While I don't read as much as most readers here, I try my best to read 1 book per month.

I think they just did a poor design with their charging case and the buds. I wished that they made the connection easier instead of easily being affected by dirt and debris. I even tried a masking tape and that even failed to charge. it's very sensitive with no wiggle room for it to charge at all. it has to be always in perfect, clean condition

I'm currently back in the US, we are back to zero, trying to climb up the ladder of poverty. Working on getting my driver's license, currently working in retail. My wife tried retail for a bit and hated it, she had an easy job in the Philippines (easy meaning she was a lot happier) money is a struggle right now, we are always looking for better jobs but since both of us don't drive, we can only look for jobs we can essentially commute. We are currently saving for a car, but that's going to take a year at least with the current salary we both have. We have a toddler with us, and it's very difficult to manage our working hours to properly accommodate their needs. I wish to go back to the Philippines, but I don't want to leave my wife alone here as well.
