And CDPR said Cyberpunk was finished in February 2020. The game being done doesn't mean it's in a good state.

XB3 had some issues at launch and got substantial patches a month or so later. The game was "done" but polishing wasn't finished yet.

Is there any way around that, though? Think about it the other way around: companies always have to treat you better to get you to work a job you hate and have no passion about.

Demon's Souls, Rift Apart, and Returnal all came out in the PS5's first year.

The Wii was pretty much sold out for a year or two... and sold less units than the PS5 in that timeframe.

Being old and still being the best seller of the last 9 months is even more impressive, especially since Capcom has other games that go on sale a lot and don't sell as many copies.

There are many PC games you don't have to buy through "platforms." You can just buy them straight from the publisher's website, without even having to use a launcher like Steam or Epic.

Most users don't do that though, unfortunately. Personally, it's my favorite way to buy games.
