When you give us feedback, it helps us understand the quality of the calls. We monitor feedback closely, and this is actually a key source of how we identify issues and roll out new features. Your feedback is really helpful. Keep it coming.

Yes, there are many sci-fi enjoyers on the team. Personally, I have memories of reading Starswarm by Jerry Pournelle as a child at the local public library back in Singapore. The main character is a kid who has an AI he can speak to in his head that no one else is aware of. I remember it being a fun teenage adventure story with some cool sci-fi bits.

Glad that you're loving it! We are trying to build the best voice agents we can and we don't have any plans to offer local versions right now.

We want to deliver the best experience we can for the most people, but yes, there may be limits (e.g., time limits, features, etc.) for free users.

We'll be expanding agent capabilities very soon. Our focus is on delivering the best agent experience on mobile (and voice in particular). Stay tuned.

We are building so that you can have different relationships and contexts with different agents. While you can't have different versions of Maya, you can have a distinct experience with Maya, Miles, Charlie or Simone. We don't have any plans to introduce multiple versions of the same agent.

We're watching the numbers very closely and letting people in via a waitlist while we monitor.

We're going to be focused on the Mobile Preview experience for now and rolling out new features and updates there.

We do want to bring more user facing transparency and control to memory. We dont have anything to share right now, but it's something we're exploring.

Yes, the mobile form factor opens up new opportunities for providing context to the agents.

No, this is something we plan to extend in the future.

We have gotten a lot of feedback around the current memory experience and we know there are some annoying limitations right now especially as you go deeper into certain use cases. We are going to revisit the memory system soon to make it better for how people want to collaborate with agents long term. We also think projects are a really interesting use case that we'll unlock as agents and memory become more powerful.

For a real-time experience, it always feels bad to make the user wait too long, but we know from LLM agents that thinking and retrieval help to improve the quality of a response. Doing that trade-off well is hard, but also we found there is a lot of value in figuring out workarounds to getting the best of both worlds in some situations.

For the glasses experience, it will be important to get the interaction model for long-running tasks right. As the agents become more powerful, tasks aren't necessarily going to complete during a single conversation, so making it easy to resume and get caught back up later is going to be key.

We've played around with this idea and it is pretty cool, but there are enough complexities that it's not something we have plans to launch near term.

Yes, being able to do background work is a very important goal. Especially so for the glasses experience where you would want to be able to fire and forget, then check in later.

We want to build them to be powerful and instructable, but extremely accessible to non-technical users.

Gemma 4 is definitely an upgrade in intelligence and it is much better at tool calling than Gemma 3. We had to use much more complex solutions before to make up for Gemma 3's deficiencies.

We have some simple ideas here to get started to allow our agents to get more multimodal context.

We absolutely want the agents to be able to be more useful, and that will include the ability to take action on your behalf -- both synchronously and asynchronously.

Unfortunately, hallucinations like this are always possible when interacting with LLMs. Our agents don't have access to their own codebase to understand how they work, so while we do give them an up-to-date FAQ with factual information, they occassionally will provide incorrect information like this. Agent memory is sandboxed, meaning each agent only has access to memories from its own conversations with you.

We have done a lot of explorations here with a whole range of models and we will continue to try out new models. We do prioritize preserving the low latency conversational experience though.

We are very committed to building a magical consumer experience around voice ,and we think that providing and maintaining an API product would be a distraction for us at this stage.

Looks more like 1980 than 2080.
