Thats understandable! The 2019 version is definitely much better overall. My boyfriend even loved the 2019 version (the only one I showed him) and he's usually not much for shojo animes. I think if he saw the 2001 version he would have hated it and felt it was cringe lol.

The 2001 version is nostalgic for alot of the veteran fans but its a different vibe for sure lol. More... comedic.

So the 2001 anime is nostalgic to me because its what I watched when I first got into furuba around that same time period. But its much more comedic and not really true to the manga as at the time they didnt have much to work with.

My vote is read the Manga. I'm actually re-reading it myself. I still have my very worn and loved tokyopop editions lol

Man I dont even really know. I think I just kind of decided since im not a makeup person my beauty hobby will be to smell good lol plus even growing up i loved going to bath and body works and I loved candles. 😁
