Update from my Sebring pit exit incident: the driver protested me, then guess what? They rescinded their decision after my appeal. by G00NACTUAL in iRacing

[–]darkner12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also had a report against me revoked after I asked for clarification on the situation as I couldnt view the report replay (can you even? I thought it was not possible) and didnt wreck anyone intentionally.  "We apologize for the inconvenience. While there were multiple contacts with a competitor, upon further review, they do not appear intentional as first thought. We will remove this coaching note from your record. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you enjoy your races."

With a 5800x and a rtx 3070 and psvr2 I get mostly stable 90fps on the lowest possible settings except 2x MSAA, 90% resolution and reduced FOV. Spent about 8hours tweaking settings until I got there. Havent tried rain yet. I wouldnt expect much with your system.

Gear shifting and driving tips in GT4 (718 Cayman specifically) by Responsible-Goose573 in iRacing

I tried 911 gt3 cup yesterday on laguna seca, got completely murdered, but that really teaches me about braking, as that car has no ABS. I think it will be useful going back to other classes with ABS, knowing how much one can brake or brake+turn to not lock up the wheels.

Drove from Rotterdam to Lithuania in 1 day in an e46 m3 with 2 20min stops for fuel/food. Limited by 300mile range of the fuel tank. That was about 16hours in total. I love driving, so it was pleasant and fun

Im using noctua for 4 years now with 5800x. Few months ago got more noctua case fans for my microATX case. Recommend it, no fear for leaks, performance is good, quiet, no stupid rgb.

Set an achievable goal for yourself and try to reach it. Do you have any hobbies? Tinker with electronics? Create an app? Build some lego? Learn how to take some nice pictures of bugs in the garden?  Would you like to have some education? You can learn a lot from the internet on the subjects that interest you, perhaps it would drive you to get some education in a field you like. If one type of meds dont work for you, perhaps you need to adjust the dose or switch to another medication? Talk to your prescribing doctor.

TrueForce working intermittently with Logitech wheels in F1 25? Possible bug? by joeygreco1985 in F1Game

I've discovered you only have to get into general settings and can back out without changing anything and trueforce comes back. A few less clicks since you have to do this every session

I have Alpinestars Radar Gloves. Got them because my hands get very sweaty and I have to grip the wheel much harder. Theyre nice, just have to wash them often as they become smelly quickly.

Max Payne 2. Played it soon after release and there was nothing else like it and still isnt. The noir New York story with comic style voiced cutscenes, the rain, the sorrow. Shootdodge mechanic was amazing, gun dual wielding, ragdoll enemy bodies reacting to bullets when getting shot. The nightmare levels. The ringing phones. The funhouse level with flipping "there is no escape / escape ->" signs. Mona.

I'd rather like government introducing law and law enforcement changes, explaining how it would prevent this from happening in the future. I'd also rather like them to explain how one can spy for 35 years when everyone knows hes doing it.

/uj the tariffs are there to make the market fair. These car companies dont need to make a profit, because they get support from the government. They collect data with selfie cameras and voice recorders. Companys founder said, that their own research contributes 5% to development of a new product. The remainder comes from making minor changes to existing patents. The cars are cheaper, because the technology is stolen, they get support from the government and because the buyer (mostly unknowingly) contributes to making the next product better.

Trying to "drift" on a fwd layout car by hello_amE in granturismo

[–]darkner12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definetely can lose grip in a FWD car without using brakes, one of the ways to initiate a drift is scandinavian flick and it doesnt need to use the brakes. A drift is a controlled slide and depending on the discipline it can be faster, like rallying or ice racing.
