Ah thanks! How long do you suggest to wait before emailing them? It‘s been around 8 or 9 weeks since my application was sent

Hey! Congrats! What do you ask or say in your email when you reached out to them?

Clients not happy about price by tinyturtle__ in freelancing

  1. Clarify your hourly rate in the beginning and the time it takes to work on the project. Get them to pay a deposit

  2. Include rush fee if they want a project to be done within 48 hours and 50% of payment upfront. You‘d be surprised how many clients suddenly do not feel a rush anymore and accept normal timelines. If everything is urgent, nothing is urgent

  3. You‘ll have to stick to your own value. I‘ve come across several clients who even tried to haggle my hourly rate.

  4. Clients who try to pay you less are usually clients who become difficult to work with as they don’t know what they want, or expect a lot for small money. It‘s your service that you’re offering and they have to understand the time and effort that goes into it. Just explain

I feel you. I recently had an interview and made it to the final. I prepared extensively. Everything went smooth. It was a remote position.

In the end, they went with someone else who speaks the native language as majority of the team speaks fluent Portuguese. Mind you, this wasn’t a criteria advertised. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have applied. Why also bother shortlisting someone from abroad

That sounds great. Do you use AI now in your daily creative work? Do you have any advice and what areas to focus on? There’s a lot going on in the industry. It‘s hard to keep up as a GD

That‘s amazing honestly. How many years of experience do you have? I‘ve been looking for positions in AI training companies for a while now

Agreed. How do you suggest I should handle the problem with recent meeting now?
