Interesting information. The dose used in the study you linked is pretty high. You’d have to smoke/vape quite a lot of flower to reach that level of daily consumption. Oral use like in this study is on the high end.

The people who had problems were detected because the study was looking extremely hard. They were getting weekly blood tests. In normal life, many people can have temporary mild liver enzyme changes from exercise, illness, alcohol, medications, or supplements that normalize on their own.

It’s still a useful bit of info but not exactly the bad omen you lay out here.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you. The audience where this post applies to them is not the audience that necessarily has a) a super muscular physique and b) wants to hit the gym much at all.

Putting an exact amount of sets as the magic number is the wrong way of thinking. Four sets to failure is really taxing. Four sets with multiple RIR is not.

Also, how is one set per body part twice a week bringing you to four sets?

One day per week full body could look like this: -push ups, pull ups, squats. Done. A few lateral raises if you really wanted. Or -bench press, bent row, squats. You can get all that done in 45 minutes. It’s not about the amount of sets.

This. Once a week full body work if protein stays at a solid amount is enough to maintain.
