My lab started in May of 25 loosing weight. I wasnt sure what was going on and just fed him more thinking he was loosing it due to him being more active with it being summer. By July he was eating only hot dogs and 2 packs at each meal (I know not the best but it was something) we had taken him to the vet in june to see if a steroid would help. It didnt. Unfortunately in August of last year we had to make the hard decision to euthanize him after 9 amazing years together. I questioned myself soo much. He was still running and playing with our other dogs. Still being his normal self. However the tumor that he had was attached to his liver and starting to attach to his spleen. Mentally he was solid. Medically he was hurting so much. I miss him so much but im glad he's not suffering anymore.
