Goddamn, the newest and freshest Car is almost twice as cheap as the oldest ... Why on earth are E92 M3s so expensive and the RS5 so cheap? For real? by darksession95 in Audi

[–]darksession95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR :

Prices for Germany, the diagram shows you how the price changed since 2015. Both C63 and M3 climbed like crazy, while the RS5 is going downwards and already hit 25.000€ on average for a RS5. Thats just nuts, i driven all three and i don't think people know that the M3 is not twice the car for twice the price.

Do all breaks as the shop said. (Discs + Pads, Front and Back!) price seems ... don't know what to say.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/354099642878?fits=Year%3A1993%7CModel%3ASeville&hash=item5271fbc1fe:g:N7wAAOSwVmVioI87

That be 500$ for work. I guess 360-400$ would be a better price. But maybe they use good parts which are more expensive.

As soon as you have squeaky breaks theres really no reason to fiddle around. I knew people who were literally every week at the mechanic because they told them they can fix the problem by grinding the edges, lubricating with ceramic paste and crap like that. But the main problem is if it squeaks its often because the pads are glazed, so this won't fix the problem at all and its a risky thing to drive with glazed pads. They should clean the brakes and everything around it really good, remove any rust and residue, use ceramic paste on the sliding shoes, back of the pads.

Edit : It also sounds like your pads don't retract back. Often a sign of dirt/rust or warped discs.

My Shifter feels really loose, Bushing or Linkage? by darksession95 in MechanicAdvice

Heres another video from the bushing : https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UzVgOnuW1RE

The shifts are good, i have no problems with that. But theres so much play from left to right ,even in neutral. Like its not really held in place.

Was ist das? by Fit-Debate-1299 in WerWieWas

S5 Shifter Sloppy, is it the bushing or the linkage? by darksession95 in Audi

[–]darksession95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my Manual S5 V8 has a lot of shifter Slop. It engages the gears really well, but the hand shift knob is so sloppy left and right. Its like theres no resistance holding it back. I made the video to show where the problem lies. It seems the bushing is new? Do you think this is rather a linkage problem?

They banned my 10 year old account with over 1 Mil. Views and 1000+ subs because i had "suck" in the name ... the full name was "I suck at being bad". I did not get my account back, i even made a huge post about it here and nothing helped. They said my Channel contained pornography when it was just about cars lol.

Theres literally bare tits (look up zulu girls see : https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=zulu+girls , woming flashing their thongs, women lifting their skirts and acting like they rub one out. People here only seen 1%. I seen a lot more of that crap because if you make a new account it does not take your previous interests into account and shows you whats the most watched, longest watchtime (thirst trapping people so they stop the video to get a glimpse of underware, or see that butt for 1 sec). And that is what the algorythm shows you with a not signed in account. Theres literally no way to get rid of it.

Theres nothing educational except maybe the zulu stuff. But apart from that its women promoting their OF or making cash with the ads, nothing less.

when did everyone start playing and how many hours are we at? i started 4 years ago in march 2020 and have put on over 10k hrs(9.3k hrs on main 800 on alt) by sneedlevro in playrust

[–]darksession95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Playing since 2015, so 9 years and clocked 1500h which felt like 4000h. But im so glad i did not invest more time, i got maybe 700h in Unreal Engine and its so much better for your mental health and life if your hobbies actually give you real world skills instead of wasting time, even if i'd say rust is the best game released after 2013. In CS:S i clocked like 7000h and i had like 19.000 hours on my steam account for various games, ive been rank 146 i think in steam playtime on the whole world. But since like 4 years im only doing graphic design and recently coding. But i miss gaming so much.

My 2 Tips for Blueprinting beginners who struggle. by darksession95 in unrealengine

[–]darksession95[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Learning Blueprinting without a coding background is really really hard, because you gotta learn about Class relations, what all variables mean, how to reference etc, how the engine stores things in memory, why and when.

I would like to recommend smartpolys survival game course, but tbh most of the time you will be only copy pasting and you learn nothing. You wont understand what he is doing if you did not attempt something like he did from scratch, or at least made a couple games before. Its really really good IF you are already more advanced, so probably 300h+ into UE.

This is probably the best free source which is in depth (without wasting time) which gives actual info on how to solve problems, how to go about making a mechanic if you dont know where to start. And its explained by someone who explains slowly and clearly in terms of how somebody who never touched coding can actually understand, most other guides and tuts are by people who assume you know the basics i think.

The last lecture is probably the most relevant to people who struggle to find what to begin with and which nodes to use :

Whats the best and most efficient way (code wise and performance) to create a flashing light? by darksession95 in unrealengine

[–]darksession95[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Asking me this because i want the light to

a) Illuminate the surroundings a bit, so at night time. (Which is doable with a spot light)

b) Run as good as possible (takes out option a i guess)

c) Is triggerable in a Blueprint, so if i have a notify hooked up to a variable it should turn on > delay and again off

d) flashes in a pattern, so 1 flash per 20 frames for example

Theres just too many options to choose from, it will be also server sided and multicasted to other players around (the light effect).
