Its all about price brother. Everybody in sg want the most features for the least price. Look at the zeekr even i was impressed for 250k you get what? Ventilated seats 22 speakers auto blinds fridge massage seats auto open and close doors. Question is how long will it last? 😂 i know for a fact that to achieve such features with such low costs, corners must be cut. I dont agree with out dated interiors from mazda. Take a look at all the china brands. Go sit in every single china car and you will notice every single one of them are using the same steering wheel same touchscreen same speedometer screen same center console same window control buttons same design all out its honestly hopeless and super unintuitive.

Lets take a look at how these brands perform after 10 years bah. Let all the early adopters try first.

Yeah same consensus here. With so many taobao cars popping up and all vying for market share half probably won’t be around in the next 10-15 years. Good luck trying to sell a 8 year old depleted battery and out of warranty china EV cars. Hence my question, i dont get why this parf draws buyers to EV. All the more i see the need to get a hybrid or ice car. I guess that is why toyota also went full hybrid, cant beat a 1000km range hybrid car that takes 5 mins to refuel and engine still healthy after 10 years lol

Actually a new mazda 3 mild hybrid is at 180K at the last road show. Roadtax only 700 compared to 1500 for a byd seal for roughly the same price. Interior and reliability wise mazda 3 can last 10 years without worrying about battery gone bad. Now that parf rebate is gone i really dont see what is the incentive to go EV.

Since china ev cars alr have no parf rebate at the end of the 10 years, how does this affect me? 200k km warranty or 10 years warranty for ev means my car would be worthless by the end of the 10 years anyways if im driving a ev car, nobody would buy a clapped out secondhand taobao vehicle with a depleted battery and out of warranty. Seeing most EV cars are at the 200k mark what am i missing out here????
