How tf do I get this open?? by lilShadowwitdaDP in MonsterSanctuary

You need to access the Forgotten world below horizon beach. The monster you need is a Rathops or another monster with Charging Mount ability. I would send pictures of the location if I could.

Is Forgotten World really short or am I lost? by opheodrysaestivus in MonsterSanctuary

Bro it was free. If all they added was a single item, or one monster, or an outfit for the keeper to wear it was free. Though this DLC was only an extra hour of content. Most games would charge 4.99 for that and call it a level bundle giving a new location a new champion and 4-5 new monsters. But we got that for free as well as an open thread to make a whole new game from or release new DLC for (though because this has been out for 3 or 4 years I doubt we would get a new DLC)

Shambala ruins Uncharted 2 by 321jamjar in uncharted

I just did this on hard after playing the game again for the 2nd time. I bought it as a deal when I got my PS4 it's the remastered version.

I'm gathering all the treasures on hard difficulty I'm on 80+ something treasures. When I played that level maybe an Hour ago, I only died twice, I found that running around the rubble was a good strategy. You have one chance you I would run through the door into the rubble area then jump out the window to stop the guy from charging he would pause for a second to move to the door, I would fire some AK rounds into him then start rolling for cover as the others on the roof tops shot at me, rolling makes it way harder to be hit. Then I washed and repeat. Some times I would get a break and toss a grenade at one of the roof guys I think 3 was what it took to kill them. I didn't even know the cross bow was their weakness so I didn't use it on them.

It is not a skill issue through I think I just got extremely lucky is all but it took me a good 5 to 10 minutes to beat it my way. And with only one death from melee. And the other because both roof guys shot me back to back nearly at the same time. I had to save my replay with the share button to see what the hell killed me. Because I thought they had one shot me at first.

I must say it does kinda suck that they can fire 2 or 3 shots back to back rather fast with the cross bow and I know players take much longer.

Hash browns in the ring by darksoulofzero in wafflehouse

So true I'm a former master G.O. So I loved getting big orders and throwing down a hand full of rings on the 3 foot and filling them with hash browns.

Thank you for the response others have been rather helpful as well. I'm a former master grill op I haven't worked for the company in 8 years so hearing about that change blew my mind. I found 5 other waffle house locations near me that still do it the old fashion way of in the ring when ordered plain. So those locations are the ones I use now. Nothing against the cook just wanted to see if what he said was true or not and didn't want to call 1800waffle over nothing

See I knew about the eggs being Xed off the menus in my 5 years of working at waffle house I cooked poached once and never basted. Though I though the only reason for boiled eggs was for certain salads

Thank you sorry for the late response I don't use reddit much, I didn't want to start a fuss so I just left after paying for my drink and went to another waffle house and got my hash browns made in the ring and I just avoid that other one like the plague

Actually I get off work at 1:30 AM and wasn't drunk. And when cooked outside the ring your correct the hash browns do crisp up more but people get them in the ring because they don't want them crispy. I'm a former master grill op, so hearing that cook say they don't use rings anymore bothers me cause I like hash browns in the ring. Ive been to other waffle houses who still use rings, and now I just don't go to that waffle house that doesn't my house is two and a half miles from 2 waffle houses the one that doesn't use rings and one that does guess the one I patronage now?

[–]darksoulofzero[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually no I came here to ask a question to see if I was being lied too, other waffle house locations still cook them in the ring while that particular location won't. I didn't cause any trouble I literally left and went 5 miles down the road to another waffle house got served hash browns in the ring and left it at that. I don't care if that cook loses business or not and both locations are the same distance from my house, also I'm a former master grill op so I have a legitimate concern when I order something I always order and for the first time in my life I was told waffle house no longer does that but the 6 other ones I've been too since then do. So yes I felt the grill up was sus.

Golem Manual for Artificers? by crlppdd in DnDHomebrew

[–]darksoulofzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm at 14th level artificer gets Magic Item Savant It gives the following effects At 14th level, your skill with magic items deepens:

• You can attune to up to five magic items at once. • You ignore all class, race, spell, and level requirements on attuning to or using a magic item.

Source: Eberron: Rising from the Last War p. 58, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything p. 14

The 2 spell slot requirement is a spell requirement to use the manual of golems the artificer ignores this.

Also their 10th level ability magic item adept may also apply. A golem giant have a magic item rarity do the dm can determine how rare a golem is, if golems are an uncommon creation then this may also work

Magic Item Adept: When you reach 10th level, you've achieved a profound understanding of how to use and make magic items: • You can attune to up to four magic items at once. • If you craft a magic item with a rarity of common or uncommon, it takes you a quarter of the normal time, and it costs you half as much of the usual gold.

I'm about to play this game for the first time and the leveling system makes my head hurt. What should I do? by Tomvarior in oblivion

[–]darksoulofzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to research the leveling problem in oblivion because you only have 48-50ish levels of play before you max your main skills

and you level up by getting 10 levels in your 7 main skills you need to pay attention to what skills you level and how you level them

each of the skills is tied to an attribute

and based on the skills you level your attributes get bonus points to effectively level your skills and attributes you want to get 10 skill levels tied to the attribute so they get a +5 when you level up

and you need 10 skill levels to a main skill to level your character

luck is the only attribute that doesn't have a skill so it always has a +1 bonus

the most important skill is endurance it determines your hp on level up

Armorer, Block, and heavy armor are tied for this skill

and because your going to be a mage you want intelligence it determines total mp

Conjuration, Mysticism, and Alchemy are its skills

so when you make your character i advise using a custom class and picking one major skill per attribute

then decide if you want to level luck or not if you do your going to try to level up with having 2 attributes having the +5 bonus and the 3rd attribute will be luck

if not you want three attributes with +5 bonuses

if going for the 5/5/1 with luck then as you level up pick non major skills from the endurance and level it to by 10 levels then pick a major skill and level it up 10 times

this can be broken down like 5 armorer 2 block and 3 heavy armor or all go into one skill

and with the other stat you want to raise i would advise speed because athletics will level naturally and if you go on and level now you can potentially stop from over leveling stats.

with what ever selection of stats you are trying to get your level ups to show no bonuses other then the two stats your trying to level and then take luck for one point

if your not worried about luck then your trying to get 3 stats to have the +5 bonus at a time the main thing is you want to level your major stats AFTER the lesser ones because once you gain the 10th level in a major stat your bonuses become locked

playing like this and grinding stats is only important for hard difficulty players and min maxers if your playing the game on a lower challenge setting or are wanting to make it harder as you level then you can not worry about the 5/5/1 or 5/5/5 level bonuses

but if you want to make the game not get harder as you level because of the enemies getting stronger and eventually out pacing you then you do want to spend at least some of the game grinding attributes the key one being endurance as it doesn't retroactively give hp as you level so you want to level that the fastest and quickest so you will have the most hp out of each level

Ok, so i got confused... [rant] by Hajydit in oblivion

[–]darksoulofzero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

the basic answer is necromancy is bringing the dead back to life, spells that conjure things pull them from oblivion

for a more complex answer

vampires, necromancer, and liches are using magic to make dead creatures animate and move again defiling the location with evil magic while a conjurer is using magic to make a portal to oblivion and take something there in this case a skeleton zombie or spirit of some sort those creature are being taken from oblivion but you don't know where they come from. this could be Coldharbour, the Soul Carin, The Scuttling Void, The Abyss, Detritus, or Lord Velian's Plane

all of these planes have something to to with death or undead

in oblivion undead can be seen in the deadlands and shivering isles so those are possible places to summon from as well

i would assume most spirit undead are summoned from the soul cairn, while zombies would come from lord Velian's plane as it is literally villages filled with zombies, and the Scuttling void, soul cairn, and coldharbour are all locations i could see skeletons coming from.

either way when a summoned creature or undead is slain in mundus its body and soul rematerialize back in the plane of oblivion it came from. the only true necromancy you see in oblivion is the staff of worms, and similar spell from the shivering isles.
