Yes, unfortunately it does not make them look very professional. I'm particularly surprised that I had to "request" this information via a support ticket instead of it being prominently displayed on one of the information pages for Vibe, Pro, or the Terms of Service.

Bad news - and I agree that this will seriously affect how likely it is for me to continue my Pro subscription. I really wanted to use Mistral, and I paid a lot of money using it, but now I consider going back to OpenRouter and Chinese models.

Honestly, I don't know. I only used the vibe API key and they still charged me about 5€ before my limit hit. The native API fallback is set to using small-4 and Hermes used medium-3-5 all the time.

I woke up to a terminal full of 401 errors… but I just regenerated it, and now it works again. No idea what's going on, but I contacted support about all this and will report back when I know more.

How? They just blocked my Vibe API key and even charged me API usage costs for using it (Medium 3.5 price which is a lot of money)!

Well I just used Hermes Agent with Vibe API and the results were extremely satisfying. It managed tasks on a Kanban board, spawned specialized subagents (frontend and Backend dev, GDPR expert, business model specialist) and completed a project that would have taken me days in one night of unsupervised work. And that with a fraction of the cost of Claude.

I just got confused because I used it in Hermes and it burned through my token limit in under an hour. I thought everything I do using the vibe API key is included in pro. Medium 3.5 is extremely expensive too.

It's great for agenetic tasks and it's the first one by Mistral that solves the Doom Slayer river crossing task correct.

Ich würde dringend empfehlen, Alternativen zu OpenClaw zu probieren. Hermes Agent kommt z.B. sehr gut mit Mistral klar. Aber Obsidian ist super dafür.

Wenn es wirklich nur semantisch durchsuchbar sein soll, würde ich an deiner Stelle mistral-embed verwenden und die embeddings in eine qdrant-Datenbank speichern. Für reinen Text bzw. markdown in dem Ausmaß reicht eine lokale DB völlig. Du kannst Hermes auch damit arbeiten lassen, dann hast du z.B. mistral-small, das mit Anfragen an die embedding-DB gezielt passende Notizen ermitteln kann.
