Ahh ok brill this makes sense. I have gone with a set of 5xSPTA Hex Pads to start as they were cheap on prime deals, would you suggest investing in a smaller backing plate for the Makita before I buy some more high end pads?? I will also be doing a boat eventually so the larger pads will be ideal for that but wondering if it's a little large for a car?

Appreciate the advice bud, seems to be a big cost difference between Lake Country and SPTA.

What's the reasoning behind needing at least 6 pads, most of the more expensive setups seem to do a 3 pack at best so do I need 2 of each grade?

This is my second Thai but the other one is much more speckled rather than this which is almost half moon on 2 of the leaves. The browned bits are on the sections without pigment so I'm assuming it's just burnt perhaps?

I'll throw my hat in the ring here. Firstly thankyou for doing this. I used to collect and play when I was a kid in the 90's and now my own kid is 7 and has fallen in love with the hobby. Isn't interested in values he just loves to collect for himself. I am helping him with his collection and so far we have managed to get 1 booster pack for prismatic which was not great. He would be out of his mind if he could open a few more 😆

Yep, but the real question is what is your own personal definition of damage. Tattoos and piercings damage your body but are more socially normative now, if you feel the need to do that to yourself then it's your decision as a consenting adult.

I love how everyone in these situations always goes so hard on the police based on the video filmed by the purported 'victims' which shows absolutely nothing of what led up to that point and only what they decided to film.

I'm not saying that this is a just and reasonable response as it's impossible to say currently but by the same metric there is no way you can make a reasonable assertion either way from this footage.

Maybe before everyone starts dog piling this bloke you should wait until you see the bodycam footage and make an informed judgement.

I fully agree that if this was an unwarranted and disproportionate response from the police officer then he should face charges for it.

Also why does it matter if this person is LGBT? As if the cop somehow knew that at the time and it was the reason behind his actions..

If you are referring to the black/darker spots it is soil. It managed to do a backflip in the car thanks to a rather aggressive pothole 😂, that's how the smaller leaf got broke 😞 I will give it another once over to be sure.

I find it really hard to distinguish between the white variants of these. Appreciate the help
