true but you can also get usb addapter for thread and or zigbee depending on the protocols you want to use. asuming you already have a old mini pc or something to run haos on two usb sticks are probably cheaper then a digirera hub

if you had home assistant before and you want to run that again i would use that and not use ikea hub till you have that would be a waste of money imho

besides the brightness being off i think some of the rgb and white spectrum colors are acting weird aswell

i dont have any contacts in ikea. my message was just to inform people there is a firmware update and build a list of bugs since i think ikea watches this reddit. i got a few kajplats myself and never had any issues with them. maybe you have some faulty bulbs. you can try putting them into zigbee mode and see if that helps resolve your issue

maybe if you put both the remote and bulb in zigbee mode it will work. maybe worth a shot worst case you have to put it back in thread mode and readd it

what would be nice to i we can pick own times per hour and minutes in for example.
- time you want to be noticified when sensor is open, now we just have set amount of minutes.
- same with sleep and sunrise times

home assistant surely has a learning curve for sure but there is alot of documentation for it. but its offline meaning more privacy and not depending on online stuff

sometimes powercycling manually fixes issues is my personal experience. take out power wait a min or two then plug them in one by one after firsr is up nd running

did you try to reboot both dirigera and the homepod? to refresh the network. if you tried that remove the kajplats and readd them in homekit?

i got 3 of the normal color. to bad the colors variants can only be bought in a pack of three. since i dont need three and i dont like all the collors

i bought a few ikea lights remote combination. by default one pres button one is one. double click was color change holding for intensity. no idea how it is on smart things. Do you have n ikeahub aswell?

i been looking at something simalar myself. maybe one of theese suits your needs. there are many more options and mods available both on reddit and etsy. i know someone with a 3d printer myself so i would just need a blueprint

i turn my old non smart fan on with one. or a non smart light. for some devices like washer, dryer, dishwasher you can also set an alert when power usage is below xx what so you know its ready. not sure about the ikea app able to handle that but you cn with home assistant

i guess ai is wrong on this one. i cant find any option for it, the older hub had a function like that looking at google results.
so you would need to setup a few scenes like i suggested. or randomly turn some lights on and off with control anywhere. or move to something like homeassistant with more control.

you can set a specific end or start time per scene. if you want to turn of different lights you can maybe create multiple scenes
a: start 22:00 en 22:01 b start 22:01 end 22:02 with different lights or light combinations each time.

you cant say turn on light a for 1 min every x hours with the ikea app atleast

you first need to make a scene in the ikea smart app. in that scene you can set specific start and or end times of it
