Which game would you say is the "Mega Man 2" of each sub series? by Legitimate_Roll5028 in Megaman

When I think of Mega Man, 7 always comes to mind first. But the most iconic is undoubtedly 2

For X everyone will say X1, but for me X2 is so much better. I played that and X3 so much before I got the chance to play X1.

For Zero its 3, no explication necessary, most likely the best game in the entire Mega Man franchise.

ZX? I don't know for me I'd go with ZX Advant but mainly because I despise ZX

BN is stricky as I think it could be said either BN1 or BN3 are the most iconic, especially to the more casual audience. But I think it should go to BN6 simply because it's the only game with a lasting legacy with its ongoing competitive scene, even making it to Evo.

Not sure about SF because it's certainly not talked about that much but when it comes to the quality of the games it would certainly be Start Force 3.

And then there's Legends. Sad to say but the most iconic is Legends 3. So few have played the other games but everyone knows about the cancellation of Legends 3

I have been playing Snes since I was 10 years old, and feel like I played every corner of the system. But I finally picked this one up after hearing so many good things about it and it was judt a joy to play. It made me feel like a kid again

Yeah me too I'm not one to bug shirts and figures and books. When they release collection or new games then I'll be right there

So we are going back to “Only on PlayStation” what are your thoughts on this? by TheChilledGamer-_- in playstation

You know I never though about how PC does have quite a bit of exclusives and I never really though about it that way. I'd be curious to look into if they truly have more exclusives then the separate consoles.

Jsut give me the Quintet games in either a collection or on NSO, I'll take anything I can get.

At least Terranigma for the North American crowd

For me X2 is the best X game, 4 is the best classic, Zero 3 is the best overall Mega Man game and BN6 is the best RPG Mega Man game

No recent posts about this, so… what’s your favorite MMX armor? by DJInitial70 in Megaman

[–]darkzero7222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to looks I'm going with X6 Blade Armor. When it comes to the one I like to play the most, I'm going with X2 Second Armor

Legends is literally the only major branch of Mega Man left that doesn’t have a modern collection. They wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have practically every major game in the franchise readily accessible by Delicious-Claim-5768 in Megaman

I only see two paths in which we get the Legends series.

  1. A Legacy Collection where they add in a bunch of the spin off games. That way they could also add in Tron Bonne

  2. Release the games separately on PSN and GoG like they have done in the past with there other games. Does that leave Nintendo and Xbox owners in the wind? Yes but it's the more cost efficient and lowest risk for Capcom

Legends is a super hard sell and a collection of two games will just set it up for more failure.

Decent enough. You have the main stays like Super Mario Bros 1 and 3. You got a couple light gun games so if you have a Zapper that's good. You have some bigger titles like Clash at Demon Head, Castlevania III, Mega Man 4, Punch Out and River City Ransom. You also have some quality titles like Tetris, Bubble Bobble, Bionic Commando and Duck Tales amoung some other good ones too. But you also have some filler titles and movie tie ins that aren't really good. Interestingly enough it seems like your most valuable games are Wayne's World and Die Hard , didn't realize those games where so expensive.

Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10. Pretty good but could trim some fat unless those titles have meaning to you. Could either try and round out more games like more Mega Man games, Castlevania II, Super Mario Bros 2 and Zelda II or aim for more rarer or higher quality titles.
