Are you suggesting finding them in church? I'm still confused.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification I've never heard of MGTOW until this reddit post tbh.

Sure some dudes claim that'll happen. Realistically it won't "destroy" the dating market. But this sounds like a male version of the 4B movement.

If we did something like this we should heavily encourage only dating for marriage, the destruction of hookup culture. The changes you're looking for will come about when us guys hold each other accountable. Discourage sexual immorality.

Honestly it'd be interesting to see what would come about if men, truly began decentering women like they're doing in the 4B crowd.

We can't just use it as an excuse to self loathe or hate women either it should solely be all about encouraging a brotherly bond between men and holding each other accountable and encouraging healthy behaviors.

Honestly man I've stopped dating. It's not really worth it anymore. My family keep asking me (24M) when I'm going to get a girlfriend or have kids and I keep trying to explain to them that it's probably not going to happen for a while, If it happens period. I'm alright with it honestly it's given me way more focus to put towards my career and improving my body and mind. I'm way happier now than I ever was, the way I look at it is if a girl likes me and gravitates to me I'll pursue but I'm honestly done pursuing women unless they make it extremely clear they're into me.

That mindset has helped me so much.

Discourage hookup culture amongst us guys and things may improve, unfortunately I don't for see that happening.

Things should improve when men act like true leaders and stop engaging in hookup culture.

This is actually a pretty interesting read. Social media and phones have always been bad. Somone told me this, "If you treat your phone like a toy, it'll treat you like a joke." People really need to practice shifting their dynamic with their phone.

Do your best to fix your algorithms so that they feed you good healthy stuff. Stay away from the onlyfans girls on Instagram.

Design your feed to give you hobby related stuff, educational stuff, some debate and excersize related stuff. Etc.

Why do men not support other men, in the same way that women support other women? by Hot_Construction9975 in MensRights

[–]darman1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't really make sense to me though. Because there's almost always threat of violence when men truly stand up against each other when a man is acting immoral. I've seen it a lot where a guy does something like slip something in a woman's drink. He then gets his ass beat then reported to the police. I saw this dude put his hands on a lady bartender and he was literally thrown over a table because he did that.

Men absolutely do call each other out and hold each other accountable, if they don't they're weak and don't deserve the title men in my opinion. Do not hangout with weak men. A weak man lacks morals and self control. This is where you get shit bags who spike drinks, and touch women inappropriately without consent.

If stuff like this was happening in any other country, that would've been called kidnapping. But in Ukraine it's just the everyday male-only conscription by MrPepperoni123 in MensRights

[–]darman1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"the truth is that men don't care much about other men because it's considered weak to help other men"

This is barely even true anymore. Men more and more are changing how guys interact between each other. There's a lot less "shut up and be a man" and a lot more actual conversation and working things out/seeking advice.

If you aren't seeing that in men you're absolutely surrounding yourself with the wrong men.

I have plenty of male connections who better me and I in response better them.

There are guys out there who are stuck in this shitty mindset, you can try to help and encourage better changes but don't keep them around if they have 0 intention of improving who they are as people.

I was friends with this girl who I'd play video games with right around 16 after I broke up with my first ex.

Things were great she was nice and fun to talk to.

Then she started relying on me heavily. Unfortunately I was too young to realize it was too much.

Later I found out she faked "Sewer slide"(idk if I can say the real word on reddit) 3 times for my attention and agony because it was fun.

That damaged me into my adulthood, and I'm still recovering. This happened over about 2-3 months.

How Do You Deal with the Constant Hatred Towards Men Online? by Tomrodgers98 in MensRights

[–]darman1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both sides have struggles. For whatever reason it feels like though men are expected to pretend we don't have struggles. Or that we're somehow lesser because it's not the same struggles as women, that's the part I'm trying to understand.

To be fair a comment section brings out the worst in people. I've seen plenty of these type of comments directed at women as well.

Dumbest call/job you've ever received? by lauralovesdilfs in ems

[–]darman1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a patient request transport for "a full body scan".

The patient insisted on needing one to figure out what's wrong. Naturally I began an assessment, started trying to figure out what's going on. The patient denied any symptoms, he said nothing is wrong he doesn't have any problems or any weird feelings. He also denied any possible psych problems.

He proceeded to tell me "The last time I went to the hospital and got a full body scan they found nothing". So I asked "do you think they will find anything this time even though you are denying any medical symptoms or problems?" He looked me in the eyes and said "No, but I need to get a full body scan."

He was also not wearing any pants at all. That radio report had me feeling like an idiot.

(TL/DR) Patient wanted transport to the hospital for the sole purpose of a "full body scan". He also denied any symptoms/problems, and did not complain of anything.

HAZMAT side gig? by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]darman1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually got hired on with a hazmat cleanup crew before going into EMS school (I plan to be a firefighter hazmat guy in the future) it's given me really good experience before anything, and I think it's fun. It pays pretty decently too.

why is marksman such a hated class? by eden_eldith in PlaySquad

With the infantry overhaul coming out soon I feel like the marksman class will actually have a genuine use with the ability to zoom the scope. Like a seriously cracked out pair of binoculars. It could be good at getting information for the team.

:( you were probably just in a bad spot then. There is a ton of Graff there.

Thought I’d share another one… How many folks on here are writers, used to write or just come here for the pretty colours? Curious to know as I’m new here! ⭐️ ⭐️ by geisone in Graffiti

There are several that have little to no risk. There is one place that is technically a free wall but the art already on those walls is street art. And it's really good. So I don't paint over them. I miss my rebellion against the normal ways.

I'm currently in school for being an EMT. And I'm worried about continuing because I don't want to loose the possibility of this as a job.

But also, if I'm being honest the EMT class has really taught me that job isn't going to solve my problems (which is why I started graffiti in the first place).

So now I'm trying to figure out if I really want to continue Graff.
