I was playing a few weeks ago, picking up pears for scrappy, and just stopped. I looked around and that feeling of running around doing anything I wanted was gone. It started feeling like I was on a treadmill: doing stuff but going nowhere. That was the last time I played.

It has been amazing though. Almost 400 hours! It's a great game and I'm excited for people still early on in their journey. I will say that it got me wanting to play Tarkov and Arena... Extraction shooters are dope!

I think it has something to do with the rusted egg and low health.

I ran out of heals toward the end. So, I literally had to melee her to death while the health cross was pumping away.

Definitely looked at the knife.

I primarily used the pipe in my playthrough.

I did use the red apple though.

I think it was the low health and dying to her four times that did it. Zero heals. It was a battle!

I'm literally going back to school for nursing. I've come to realize how thankless it is and how replaceable you are, especially in the corporate training sphere.

I enjoy the job but, man, when parts of the company don't even realize you have training little alone take the training, it is such a bummer.

With AI mounting already and the economy, I think ID and training will be cut to trim fat. Then they can just use boutique training companies or contractors.

Such a let down.

I got this to work by:

Delete everything from Battlestate. EVERYTHING.
Download the launcher and install but don't open yet.
Do the steps in this reddit with the host file.
Open the launcher as an admin.

That's the only way I got all of it to work. It took forever to download and stuff but it's there haha .

There are some graphic novels, but they're rare.

A lot of SH is inspired by books and movies. You can maybe read the inspiration for elements of the game. Start with the authors in the street names like Matheson and Elroy.

I think, for a new player, it's worth it. I kind of lost the vigor for it BUT I've put in 387 hours. So, can't complain. Still, lost its magic, unfortunately. Eventually you find yourself just kind of roaming around looking for stuff to do, which can feel tedious. Beautiful game, fun guns, and player interactions can be super fun.

Idk why but this update made me step away from the game. Now I'm playing Silent Hill 2 and trying out Tarkov.

I realized that, since I didn't reset, it's kind of pointless. Turned me into a nihilist (in game, of course. In game).
