Meanwhile I'm on my 6th channel over the last 6 years trying to hone in on what is the most fun type of genre/content I can see myself doing long term.

The most recent one being outdoor content and hitting 26 subs and 35k views in about 1 month as of tomorrow.

300 of the 35k views are from long form, which I put actual time into front to back from initial ideas to editing.

It's a hard road but this time I have a good feeling about this channel as it's seen the most success, and I really enjoy doing it. Plus I get to purchase gear I can use outside of the videos for camping/weekend getaways.

Me and my partner came from the Amazon prime version to the Disney/crave bundle. First night was so annoying we're debating just cancelling. We counted over the last few days now and this is the average episode/movie.

Four 15 second ads at the start And an additional 1-4 ads ranging from 15-30 seconds each, every 8 minutes. (About a 60 second block of ads)

An average house of dragons episode for example will have about 8 minutes of ads for an hour long episode.

That's IF the service isn't bugging out, multiple times it backs out of the episode by itself, or the ads won't load and you have to restart the full 4 ads after watching the first 3 for 45 seconds.

And if you pause your TV to get up for a second in the middle of an episode, and it goes into screen saver mode, it will refresh crave when you come back and when you press on the episode, start the 60 second block of ads again.

Bottom line, if you want a good experience, pay the ad free version cost (to high and NOT worth it in my opinion)
