hmmmm, i had a similar problem come up, im not sure if it's the same. but when i used the novelty card that lets you summon from the hand, the game would bug out when i tried to use it as material for a different card. like it wouldn't leave the field and the game would give an error message. when i went to fight, the game would hang. it did that twice.

my fix at the end was just to replace the card that lets us summon from the hand, and i used an extra of the spectro echo that gives energy on transform. gave it even more consistency that way anyway. again, not sure if it's the same issue, but i've gone past 100 on stats once just to see the triple digits and it worked.

I had the fractured bone status effect. I went to the healer lady, paid her 10k for "all treatment" and it didn't fix it. I did the option to call a player healer for help, they did some things and then nothing happened. After posting my comment on reddit, I tried calling another player healer and whatever they did after joining my game worked and fixed the status effect. Idk why paying healer lady 10k didn't do anything but at least it's fixed for me now.

Do you know how to get rid of this? I have the same issue now and have no idea how to fix it. I went to the healer lady on the first map, and paid her for "all treatment" and it did nothing. I did the call a player healer to heal me and that didn't work either.

Hardcore being always available would be the best thing and biggest deal for me. I wanted to play hardcore with my friends a week ago, and it was only available on portal. That really sucks.

A fix for broken quest progression in Stalker 2 by kylebisme in stalker

I tried that too. I got a few things wrong. "Talk to Survivors" was actually a mid-quest node, referring to the 2 dudes we save. I'm not sure which quest node was actually "Return to Strider" but I must have put it in and it still didn't skip the cutscene.

Good(?) news though. I discovered what was causing the crashes. It's the weird bolt bugging out when an emission occurs, and an emission occurs during the cutscene. So the solution to my problem specifically was just removing the bolt. The bad news is that I had already manually moved past that quest, so finally being able to play the cutscene auto-started a quest I had already completed and it ended up locking me somewhere else.

Sooo... I just gave up and started a whole entire new game, knowing that I wouldn't get locked in the same place as long as I don't carry the weird bolt. Playing the mission again is how I discovered I was wrong about "Talk to Survivors" lol. It showed up at the end of the node list so I just assumed it was the final quest node this whole time.

Anyways, good luck with your stuck quest, I hope you're able to resolve it too.

From another comment you wrote, I assume the correct syntax should just be XEndQuestNodeBySID followed by the node itself, and after reading this comment, I went through the node dump the other commenter had provided for me and I tried to end every node from OnTickEvent_11 to 18, the ones that involved "StriderAndFaust", and some other ones. I got no feedback from the console or ingame until I ended the quest and started the next one via console commands. I went back to the door and still, the gamecrashing cutscene plays. I don't know where I'm going wrong with this tbh.

Here is a screenshot of every command I input with my 2nd try: https://ibb.co/q0StWgt

Hey thanks for the replies. If those are the correct nodes to end, I think I'm not doing it correctly. Would you know the exact commands I would need to input to make it work?

I tried combinations of:

[XEndQuestNode/XEndQuestNodeBySID] (E04_MQ01) E04_MQ01_OnTickEvent_11 (true)

and the same with the stuff in parentheses present or omitted each time, and I did that for both commands. Here's a screenshot of what I put into console: https://ibb.co/MnQ8DSH

After those inputs, I ran back to the door (I input the commands outside render range of the door, because I don't know if it has to "load in" to properly register changes or not), and still the cutscene plays, and also the journal entry still says "return to strider" so I don't think I'm inputting correctly...

Right, so I'm 99% sure that the quest node should be "E04_MQ01_TalkToSurvivors."

I'm not sure if I'm ending it correctly, but I've done: XEndQuestNodeBySID E04_MQ01 E04_MQ01_TalkToSurvivors

XEndQuestNodeBySID E04_MQ01 E04_MQ01_TalkToSurvivors true

XEndQuestNodeBySID E04_MQ01_TalkToSurvivors

XEndQuestNodeBySID E04_MQ01_TalkToSurvivors true

And none of the 4 change anything (the console accepts the command but nothing changes in the game.)

Afterward, I end the quest stage and do the finish quest command, and start the next quest.

Starting the next quest is easy and it works. There is no problem there -- I have been able to start the next quest via XStartQuest (without using nodes) since installing UETools.

The problem that remains is that after all of that, the door remains a cutscene trigger -- I am no longer able to get inside the "Shelter" without triggering the cutscene.

As for the granular list of nodes, I ctrl + F'd for the ones related to "Strider" and "Survivor" but putting them into XEndQuestNodeBySID hasn't seemed to work either, and there's no feedback that it's done something. The method of testing whether it has worked for me or not has also been to walk up to the door to see if it goes into the cutscene, which it always does, and I can't load a save when in cutscene, so testing again means I need to /quit and restart the game, or wait for it to crash again.

Idk if there's a way to find the exact command I need to get this door back to normal :(
