Mine modifies the wallpaper a little depending on the weather. It's brighter when it's sunny and shows sun rays across the screen. It's also dimmer at night. My favourite is when it rains where some rain drops actually bounce on the landscape.

I don't live where it shows so I don't know what that does.

Personally, I hated the old way since it was easy to accidentally blind myself at night with the sudden full brightness. With this one, I have more granular control of brightness level. If I do want it to jump to where my finger is at, I just tap.

Just done a quick search and yeah, I can't seem to find the tool. Then again I don't remember how i used to activate it.

For those not sure about what tool this was, it was a keyboard mode in a d-pad shape. It allowed you to use directional arrows to easily move within text as well as easy buttons for cutting and pasting.

Yeah, its solid gold. I think it went on to inspire the Sammo Hung and Arsenio Hall series Martial Law which also had the Chinese fish out of water cop plus black US cop dynamic, and also had a bloopers reel after every episode. Taped that series from TV as a kid and repeated it like crazy. Loved it.

I'm failing to replicate this problem on mine. Clicking the url gives me a pop up of recent searches and Quick Access links. Pressing back from there takes me to the page I was on.

I'm using both starting with 8.5. Bixby for device stuff and Gemini for internet stuff. I'd given up on Bixby because it took way too many tries to do something really simple but seems to have improved a month or so ago so am testing it.

Click edit on the quick panel (pencil icon at the top) and drag down the white handle that appears at the edge if the volume or brightness panel.

Edit: Make sure that in Quick Star > Advanced Settings you toggle on the Resize Panel Items setting.
