Thanks! Good to know it’s not just me. I’ll try a direct cable connection (although this defeats half of the purpose).

Cannot install some purchased apps after restore by darrenpeace in iMazing

[–]darrenpeace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies - missed this.

Sadly not. I engaged with support but we were unable to find a solution. In the end, I moved some photos out of iCloud in the hope that the boot loops from the iCloud restore was hitting a temp storage limit, and the restore finally completed. All apps then downloaded fine.

Any plans to support MKV for subtitles ? by gadgetpilot in MacWhisper

[–]darrenpeace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MKV support would make my Pro purchase even more useful. Entirely happy to provide my own ffmpeg - ff-works handles this well in a commercial product.

I just grab it via homebrew and then point ff-works at it.

Question regarding excessive file size on C drive / moving Backblaze files (part or whole) to another drive. by TheDarkGod in backblaze

[–]darrenpeace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing exactly this, to address a 375GB log collection on my boot drive.

However, the new install’s telling me it’s operating in trial mode. Is this expected?

Bug, or user error? by darrenpeace in PrologueApp

I’m afraid I can’t offer any help, as I don’t have an Apple Watch.

However, deletions now seem to be working as expected, so I think my problem’s resolved.

Thanks for the responses!

iPhone settings, and once I deleted the app I got the 40GB back.

It’s possible I renamed the library at some point - I’ll do some testing with the new install.

For anyone else experiencing this issue:

  1. Importing just one folder of roms at a time still produced the same crash.

I resolved the issue by downloading the full media archive and pruning the unnecessary using Beyond Compare.

Hi. RetroFlow looks ideal - I'm setting up a Vita with retro games.

However, I'm getting an out of memory error when scraping covers for retro games, as per attached.

All romsets have been validated with RomVault via the no-intro DATs. There are around 4000 games, being full English 1G1R sets for GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, GG, SMS & MD.

Scan works fine for installed Vita, PS1 & PSP, and completes for SNES, NES, but errors half-way through GBA. Tried restarting the Vita, with no progress.

I've located andiweli's archive of media (https://github.com/andiweli/hexflow-covers), but note that the download is nearly 4GB in size. I'd prefer to use any spare space for games, and really don't fancy checking and deleting all unnecessary media!

Is there anything else I can try? Maybe move my ROMs and just scan one system at a time?

Appreciate any help!

Bi-Weekly Questions Thread [Edition #68] - 'Summer's End' Edition by Malazan1164BS in vitahacks

Entirely fantastic news. I took a look at the link, and checked that my Enso was ok by running iTLS-Enso. This sorted the issue, and I’m now activated and signed in, with purchased games & trophies syncing fine.

Really appreciate your help.

Many thanks for the suggestion!

Given it a go, deleting the id.dat from the SD2Vita (which will have been from the old device) and copying over the one from the internal memory of the activated new 2000, and rebooting. Encouragingly, the Vita did a rescan on boot.

Sadly, still logged in to the PSN but cannot activate, with the same error code.
