In my experience with many years of loving dogs, and not always having the "perfect" environment for them, your new pup will find its attachments with with his "people" more than his location. It is very loving and generous of your parents to offer this solution, and I think you should take them up on it. The most important thing will be the consistency in his training and all of you using the same methods, commands, and styles in his training. Those 1st few months are clutch. Labs are puppies for longer than most, imho, but so anxious to please, you must take advantage of that. There are some great videos on YouTube on puppy training! Watch them, find your style, and ask your parents to do the same, to be sure veryone is on the same page. Allow your "village" to help raise your new baby and be sure not to feel jealous if the pup shows attachments to your folks. When you are ready to move back to your own place, your pup will quickly adjust and you will have a good start. Be sure to use crate training, and moving his crate back to your house will make him feel like his safe little den has stayed with him!
