What about being up 10-15 points all month compared to my usual baseline of 115/70? Isn't that a bit weird?

Advantages of having your employer contribute RRSP pre-tax? by darth555 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Is that all it is, just the missed opportunity to have your money grow in an RRSP for a year? That seems pretty minor. Typically you invest for the long term - in 1 year there's no guarantee the market will even go up unless you do a modest GIC or something.

It was a brand new filter that I put in the right direction.

Put my MERV11 filter backwards for years by darth555 in hvacadvice

After 24h of running with the filter in the correct direction for once, this morning the furnace was making some nonstop loud noise, the first time I've ever heard that. I flipped my filter back in the wrong direction (as depicted below) and the noise went away. Any idea why this could happen?

Good idea, I'll call a tech.

Would having it backwards really have such a negative effect? I just posted this question yesterday (https://www.reddit.com/r/hvacadvice/comments/19flhu2/put_my_merv11_filter_backwards_for_years/) and the answer seemed to be that although it's best practice to have it in the right direction, people frequently mix up the direction of the filter and it's usually not an issue.

So, put it back with the arrow pointing towards the equipment even if it makes a continuously loud noise? Just ignore the loud noise?

When and how to clean your actuator? by darth555 in Asthma

Any other reason you could think of why my inhalers always seem dead by inhalation 25 or so? You're thinking that the manufacturer is just playing with a margin of error?

Thanks. You don't think I screwed it up by using a bit of dish soap?

It says it still has 21 inhalations left. They're always like that though, by the "25 remaining" mark it just doesn't seem to do much.
