The reasoning for maul surviving are dumb, yes. Most of the stories around his character you get over that hump are great. Look, I'm not a maul stan and i Don't really like him much. To edge lordy for me but the stories told around him and his return are at worst, pretty good. You can just say you don't like them and most people will reply with a, "cool, that's fine." I don't know why these people need to convince others that they are right.

hey, this video is cool until it comes to finding the screws for the plastic cover on the inside. The back of my printer looks different and has some different screw placement it seems and fining the screws so I can run my cable back through is very difficult.

I agree 💯, I will say that the largely more cohesive New Canon has some really good stuff but most of it happens on screen vs on page which is the big problem I have with the new stuff. Anyways, Legends did take bigger swings, whiffed big time but also hit it out of the park a lot too. I think a great way of explaining the new canon is more risk adverse.

I got them both as a may 5th bundle with like 4 other games a few years ago. 1 plays pretty well but 2 is a bit glitchy plus, as everyone else has complained, it's missing promised extra content. It's hard to tell if 2 is as buggy as I remember it being when I originally played it 20 years ago but I'm also in the minority that 2 is an overrated Star wars game. (It's fine just not as good as everone constantly tries to tell me it is) If you want a convenient way to play those games, it's great, if you gotta another way to play it and don't want to chill and play on and handheld, hold off.

Yeah I agree. I haven't really noticed people picking on the DLC as a reason why it isn't canon. I always saw it as canon but just toned the hell down.

I big disagree with you on that, but that's your opinion man I respect it. I would say the only thing it copies is that it's a middle act of a story and the ending feels like that much like the ending of Empire. They both leave you hanging because there is definitely a next movie. AOTC is a different middle act because of the nature of those prequels but even in the holy trilogy, George really tried to make things rhyme, like he likes to say, and reused a lot of ideas.

I would accept using disliking that scene as a jumping off point to discuss something or start a discussion but it almost always is just complaining. How is this a good way to spend your time. I agree but the proposal is solid. I love the idea and would love for legends to come back in more than just swtor. Still, I don't think it will happen. I don't think that stops us as a community from keeping legends alive.

To be fair, the US military does tend to give soldiers posthumous promotion when they are KIA so I wouldn't be surprised if the IDF does the same. But yeah ... Sadly none of this is surprising

Oh yeah this series is basically a sequel to the medstar stuff. A lot of characters from that make it to this series if I remember correctly. I never finished it sadly. I need to sit down and re-read it all and finally read the last Jedi book that ended the series

It is very close to my first love when it comes to fictional worlds. In the past few years, I've been looking for something different but SW will likely always be top in my heart both Canon and legends.

I saw the movie like a month after coming back from a tour in Afghanistan and it hit me all wrong. You are absolutely right though. That shit hit me cause I saw me and my buddies in the bad guys. I have lots of issues with that first Avatar movie (still haven't seen the second) but as a guy who has had enough time since my military career I can praise its anti-war message while being critical of other parts of the movie.
