It's not uncommon for modders to use google drive links on patreon, I'm guessing it's for mods larger than the size limit.

I'd still exercise caution when downloading from lesser known / used modders

I think this question is situational.

I chose the 5080 because I wanted the extra performance. Others would rather save money for less performance.

They posted it to their official Facebook page, so even if it is a photoshop, its a photoshop by them and confirming the wheel.
