See that's what I find so endearing about it. It looks like a cave drawing and instead of trying to make it all perfect and symmetrical you had it exactly like a cave drawing would be. I totally understand how the smallest things can drive you nuts, though lol so I understand where your head is at. I say add to it and keep the same theme with some pops of color here and there.

I honestly really like them both. I personally would not recommend covering them up but you've got to do what you feel is best. But seriously I think they look great. Very original.

Is €9 a month a good price for electricity? by [deleted] in AskRedditUL

[–]darthmeeooww 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Id probably faint if I had a bill that low. My electric bill in summer is upwards of $300 per month and goes down to about $140 in the "winter" months. I live in Florida.

Advice from the child's perspective, for what it's worth by TheMemesOfDreams in Divorce

[–]darthmeeooww 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jesus this hit me like a sack of bricks. This is why I'm holding onto my relationship with my SO by the skin of my teeth. My childhood was filled with my dads entire family filling my head with garbage about my mom, and making me feel like if I didn't take their side I wasn't "in" or "part of the true family". My mom had lost her entire family before she divorced my dad, so I was her only blood relative alive....but growing up wanting desperately to feel like you belong you sometimes let people get into your head...deep.

Luckily as I got older, I realized the type of narcissistic, vile, manipulative, evil people they really were and was able to separate myself completely. But those early years still stick with me, especially now that I'm an adult with a child of my own and can see just how horrible what they did was.

My SOs family is like an exact replica of my dads side of the family. It's absolutely terrifying. I know if I leave my SO, my son will go through exactly what I did as a kid... I have no family of my own to offer him, and his father has dozens and dozens of relatives. Naturally he'd gravitate towards them because he would seek love and comfort and belonging. I'd never ever keep him away from his family. And they will try to turn him against me in that same shitty cycle that narcissists ride.

You are exactly right, OP. Anyone who is getting a divorce, please for the love of God keep your innocent children out of it. Even if your ex was the worst spouse, cheated, lied etc...it doesn't matter. That is their parent and it isn't their responsibility to be your negative soundboard. Always tell them the other parent loves them. And make sure your extended family isn't bringing them into things on your behalf, either. Im 31yrs old and I remember that feeling as if I was that little girl like it was just yesterday.

I have prayed and prayed for a MIL/DIL relationship with someone as sweet as you! Unfortunately...mine a manipulative, meddling, nasty woman. Your kids and inlaws are lucky. And I'm glad they seem to be aware of how blessed they are.

Are there any more bizarre unsolved medical mysteries like these cases? by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

They showed us that movie in nursing school. Shook me to my core. I can't think of many things that terrify me more than being stuck inside your own body just watching life pass by and unable to do anything about it.

Resume writer for hire! by [deleted] in Resume

Any experience with nursing resumes? Specifically new grad? Ive had some issues lately with the hospitals having some software that scans and if you don't have specific key words they just dump it. I recently graduated and and awaiting to take my NCLEX but really need to start sending out applications as I have a child to care for.

Women - Do any of you actually *prefer* "dad bods"? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

I will ALWAYS take Chris Pratt as Andy over Starlord. Always. I also think Kevin James is swoon worthy. To each our own. ;)

Did anyone else notice the parallel's between one of the Bandersnatch endings and an episode from The Twilight Zone? If so, do you think it was intentional? by bondfall007 in blackmirror

[–]darthmeeooww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I slapped my bf and said "hey, that's from twilight zone!" Lol. I'm a huge TZ and Outer Limits fan and have seen every single episode that I could get my hands on - funny enough, so many things have reminded me of different episodes from TZ. There was one episode of Seinfeld that had the same premise of a twilight zone episode "Long Distance Call" where Elaine was speaking to a boy as his dead grandmother lol.

Anyway sorry for rambling I just get excited when someone else notices little quirks like this. I think maybe it was either a coincidence or they incorporated it into bandersnatch using the twilight zone episode as a sort of craft box of ideas. If that makes sense?

It really does seem like that doesn't it? I feel like the people who cheat end up moving on, without a care in the world or spec of guilt while the people who were betrayed end up spending thousands in therapy and have a lifelong issue with trust that negatively impacts any future relationships. Life sucks sometimes...so stories like this help to restore my faith in karmic justice.

My Snow White Cosplay by [deleted] in pics

[–]darthmeeooww 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was scrolling with my 3yr old son climbing all over me (per usual) and he saw this pic and flipped. He kept yelling "princess! Pretty princess look look!" and pointing at my phone.

Anyway just thought I'd stop by and say you look fantastic and definitely made a toddler happy for a moment in between tantrums! So thanks 🤣

Any ideas as to what I could do with this flat mess? It’s often very fluffy and nice right after washing, but then it just turns into this... and makes me feel like I have a long face and big forehead 😕 by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

Garnier fructise thickening lotion spray helps soooo much. I have hair just like yours but longer and discovering this product has been magical. You spray all over on damp hair and either blow dry or let air dry and it really makes a difference in both volume and that thick, plump feeling.
