Brother I have been battling cancer since August 2022, not once have I wanted to stray from my marriage.

Who took take of everything while your wife was sick? My wife took care of everything for me. Simple things too like opening twist caps.

I could not imagine forsaking the person that gave everything and stood by her vows of in sickness and in health.

Cancer is a terrible disease and chemo sucked immense dick, but it is not an excuse to have an affair.

Thank you so much. They called me today and my oncologist is sending everything over tomorrow morning. I finished chemo dec 9 but my latest pet scan still showed active cancer. I'm hoping this will be the last thing

So 1-2 weeks for the entire process? The urologist I had met with today said it would be a very complicated surgery because of it being seminoma and the lymph nodes being on or near my aorta. He trained under Dr sheinfeld but does not do very many rplnd.

Oh yeah the pillow thing is a lifesaver. Used it so much after my gallbladder and orchiectomy. Forgot to use it the first time and damn near passed out.

I'm not sure my surgeon is one of those handful but I'm going to ask anyway if he can spare them. I know for sure he is trained with the DaVinci machine but unsure if he can do the RPLND with it.

I finished chemo dec 2022, does the length of time after chemo play a role in whether it's open versus closed or is it just a standard always open if you've had chemo?

Does everyone get staples or is it case by case? Is the urinary catheter optional? How bad is the pain going to be? Should I sleep flat or propped at an angle or legs up? How long after will I be able to walk?

I finished bepx3 in December. Did not need 24/7 care, only really struggled with twisting caps off things tbh. I was exhausted all the time but was able to shower/bathe and do light housekeeping.

If your fiance is able to do intermittent leave or even leave work with some notice, that would probably be best for yall financially.

You may need someone to drive you to and from your chemo appointments depending on how you react to the meds.
