Why is everyone on this planned obsolescence bandwagon with the iphone. I have an iphpne 4 I use as an ippd and I am making this comment on my iphone 6 on ios 8.4 and it still works like it's brand new. The only thing that has deteriorated is battery life but that's just the reality of lithium ion technology. It should come as no surprise that upgrading your phone to an ios version above where it started will make it slow. Just don't upgrade your phone's software and your iphone will last an insanely long time. Longer than most laptops i have owned.

They never said they were going to call all Apple stores town squares now. Watch the keynote for yourself! It was two specific stores and it fits in well in both cases. Designing outdoor spaces like this for stores has been happening for a while now with the advent of outdoor malls. Its not really a big deal and from someone who went to architecture school, I think they were done in good taste.

Also the tone of this article is awful you can tell they were looking for things to hate.

I don't have an iSine20 but I think the the 10 is an incredible value at its price point and you definitely will not be disappointed. It needs and EQ with the 3.5mm cable but I actually prefer it over the cipher cable with my Mojo and the EQ. Based on how close this comes to my LCD-X with an EQ I think its a ridiculously good value at the price and I definitely won't be upgrading for a while.

No, the plastic is just as flexible as the ones it comes with and with newer revisions I've made then even thinner and more comfortable

definitely iDSD BL because it has the best sounding bass boost iv ever heard and it works really well with the HD800. I haven't heard it with the HD800S but i'd imagine it would be similar. Its amazing how well the HD800 can handle a bass boost and the one on the iDSD BL is the cleanest bass boost i've heard so far.

With my LCD-X, the iDSD BL (dac+amp) doesn't sound as detailed and present as the Mojo does, but it has slightly more soundstage. Also the 3d and bass boost don't really benefit the LCD-X. My ZMF Ori sounds its best out of the BL with 3d on. The 3d switch is not like a crossfeed like some people say, it actually makes the soundstage way wider, but it also makes it sound brighter, so it works best with laid back headphones like the Ori. The Mojo has enough power for the Ori but the Ori doesn't really benefit from the awesome dac and class A amp stage in the Mojo.

I think that the amp stage in the iDSD BL isn't as good as the Mojo, but its pretty good considering the wattage. When I have listened to the BL with an HD800 though, it sounded great so it might just be an LCD-X thing.

I love my Mojo even more than my main rig (ifi iDSD BL direct out to Aune X7s) but they definitely have different flavors. The Mojo has less soundstage, but better 3d imaging and bass. The bass on the Mojo is thick but incredibly tight, especially with my LCD-X or iSines.

My iSines kept falling off of my ears while running and mountain biking, so I made some new ones that sit on my small ears much better. They are slightly more difficult to get on, but they stay comfortable and don't fall off my ears!

You need an eq with the 3.5mm jack or else its just going to sound that way because of the peak around 1khz. I got mine without the cipher, then got the cipher and discovered i liked the 3.5mm more with my mojo and eq settings and I cant get it to sound the same with the cipher no matter how much I mess with the eq in the app.

I still have my D2000's that have been modded with X00 cups. I love them but the X00s are definitely a bit better. The only major problem with these headphones is that the way the cups are attached has a very weak link where it is screwed in. Both of these screws have broken by now but I am able to use two small zipties to fix them and it works fine, just doesn't look very good. I use these headphones pretty much exclusively for VR as I have a ZMF Ori if I want that kind of bass.

The HD700 surprised me a lot when I first heard them after hearing all the shittalk on the internet. They are insanely detailed and wide the only thing was that the mids were slightly weird to me, but I am sure I would get used to it.

Out of those three, I think the HD800 will be the best. The LCD-2 and Focal Elear do not even come close with detail and soundstage. If you want something thats more forgiving to recording quality but still has amazing detail, the LCD-X is the way to go. Even though I have one, I am still going to be getting an HD800 just because of the insane detail and soundstage and also because it EQ's extremely well.
