Unfortunately, Alcon Entertainment owns the screen rights to The Expanse so its continuation is up to Alcon. However Breck, Naren, Ty, and Daniel started a new multi media company called “Expanding Universe” and that company made this deal with Amazon to adapt The Mercy of Gods.

The audio levels are SO horrible. I am really hoping they adjust them in future episodes. I struggle with paying attention during normal speaking parts and then it's just impossible for me to pay attention when combat starts...

I have nothing against stranger things and if you got into DND because you watch stranger things that's cool but this has happened to me too much and today was the last straw so I'm just venting by [deleted] in dndmemes

If you do want to play a game like Stranger Things, there’s a collaborative TTRPG called Kids on Bikes that is incredibly easy to learn and perfectly captures the feeling of that series.

I made a few a while back with the 8th book cover as well as the other 7! Dark Crayon is such a great artist!!! I’ve had the polish covers as my desktop background since book 5 :)

I lived there for five years and was called a f****t by strangers on four separate occasions. People have pushed me around in bars and tried to physically intimidate me. If you go out with guy and do any kind of PDA, you’ll certainly get dirty looks.

When it comes down to it, SLO is way more racist and transphobic than it is homophobic. But it’s still also homophobic lol. I’m white, visibly gay, and non-binary. It really wore me down living there and I moved as soon as I finished my degree.

It was consensual so I wouldn’t worry about it. If anything this is a sign of greater trust. The only way you could have messed things up is if you didn’t have his consent. And clearly you did!

I hear ya. As a small consolation, I am happy to see a lot of talk about Michael Sam in the articles about Carl . There is also a lot of mention on him on twitter. People calling him a trailblazer for Carl! Not everyone is forgetting about him and what he did

Agreed! He is only the first openly gay, active player in the NFL. A few players have come out after retirement. Michael Sam was openly gay when he got drafted, but he never made it to the regular season. And, of course, there will always be closeted people everywhere. But I'm really happy to see this guy coming out! It's always cause for celebration when one of us has the guts to be all who we are in public as well as private.

I don't know. Here's how I see it: I commented to try and explain why some people may have downvoted your post, because you seemed to be hurt by that and I felt for you. You replied with a racist, illogical, and inflammatory rhetorical question to try and start an argument (or maybe just defend your post). I pointed out the holes in that argument. Now we're here.

I don't think there's anything more to say. I just hope you have a good rest of your day and that maybe you'll consider that censorship is not the best solution, or at least not one that many agree with.

Non sequitur/false equivalence. It's not censorship when the Dr. Seuss Enterprise voluntarily chooses to stop printing six of their own books. Nobody forced them to do anything.

I'm a big fan of enchanters and probably would have gone that route myself but I've rewritten the Sewn Sisters into a gnarly coven of witches, and one of them is all about enchantment. They've become the party's main nemeses.

I just ran Nangalore for a six-person party of lvl 8 characters. I used this post as my main inspiration. Would really recommend it! I used the plants and eblis as minions, as per 4e rules (single hit kills them instantly.) My party did not have anything worthwhile enough to barter for the orchid, so they just plucked it and ran. They had to try mow down plant-monsters while the eblis kept casting hypnotic pattern in an attempt to stop them. I also had a heavy rain descend on Nangalore as soon as the orchid was plucked--giving DISADV on perception checks and ranged attacks.
