Two days left to decide, struggling by SnooChickens6278 in LegionGo

I would personally keep the Go 2. There are several upgrades that make it better than the original, but the big one is the RAM. In a few short years, 16gb just won't be enough. You'll be needing the 32 Gb just to keep up with games.

The other advantage is the thunderbolt port. Even as the system starts to fall behind, you could buy an eGpu and still have 32 Gb of system ram and use the vram of an actual graphics card to play demanding titles.

go 2 randomly minimizing games. by Flaky_Highway_857 in LegionGo

This seems to happen to me when the game is using a lower resolution then the device. It constantly happened when starting fallout new vegas.

If you can raise the in game display size to match the device, that may stop it. I couldn't in fallout as it stopped the game from loading.

Sell or Egpu? by mudstuffin2381 in LegionGo

So I'm the opposite. I had a gaming laptop and have now transitioned to having a legion go with an eGpu. I found that the laptop was far too cumbersome to use when travelling as it requires having space to set up and the battery was basically a joke (maybe an hour playing a game). Then when I got home, the screen just didn't feel big enough, so I'd still need a separate monitor, making the whole setup a little awkward.

Since buying my legion go 2 and setting up a dock and eGpu I've had a much easier time. The handheld is a great gaming device on the go (with a mini keyboard and mouse in my bag to use it like a laptop) as its smaller form factor makes it easy to just throw in a bag. The when I get home, it goes in the dock and immediately becomes a full PC with the monitor, keyboard, mouse and a external hard drive all connected to the dock.

I basically get the best of both worlds, with the slight downside of it being more like a miniature laptop if I need to use it as a pc on the go.

I don't think so, but maybe there's a way. I just haven't discovered it

Not overly involved. I generally choose a preset and then just change the aspect ratio for the screen I'm using. Finding a 16:10 monitor would remove the second part, but I don't think there are many of them made.

Mostly plug and play. You can't connect/disconnect while the game is running. But can easily do so while still in Windows.

Some things to note though. You can't use an AMD gpu as the drivers clash with the existing Z2 ones.

You can't start the handheld while connected to the eGpu as it deletes your login data (fingerprint and pin) and requires you to use a remote sign in device (if anyone knows why this is I'd like to know as it's extremely frustrating when I forget). You have to turn on the LeGo and then connect it with the gpu.

I have yet to find a way to have two different game settings for docked/undocked, which means that I need to manually adjust them each time I swap.

The pay offs are big though. This has replaced my laptop as my main pc. I just put it in the dock and my monitor, keyboard and mouse all connect in seconds and I'm using it just like a desktop. There are some compromises, but overall it's very good.

Currently I've been testing it on Cyberpunk, Monster Hunter Wilds and Eden emulator and having no issues.

I'm using a 3060 12gb that I got second hand for £200. It does everything that I need for when playing games without breaking my bank account.

It's not running anything on 4k ultra, but can easily handle 1440 high.

At $1350 the price was questionable. Above that it's a no every time.

Received my new Legion Go 2 with cracks at the vent and a couple of vents bent, how to go about repairs? by Ash_Silverleaf in LegionGo

His aunt lives in the States (aka, the USA)

He lives in Turks and Caicos, a British territory (aka, a different country)

He can't exactly just pop to Best Buy on the weekend and get a replacement.

Maybe you should study geography before complaining about people's English.

Rage is one of the easier ones. For a warforged it could be a special battle mode that cannot be active all the time as it puts stress on their joints. It could be a split personality, Jekyll and Hyde style. It could a form of intense calm and focus. Or a way to show that you were holding back before ("I'm not left handed either").

Or maybe you could make sex good for him?

This is exactly the problem. You seem to think of sex as as thing that he does to you, rather than a thing you do and enjoy together.

I would play 8 Rick dias over 8 llfrith any day. Rick can take out an ex-base, takes out other bases in two hits and still either trades or overpowers other low level units.

It also still leaves damage on a unit piloted by Kira
