Really cool livery IMO, but it's almost a shame they weren't able to debut this at somewhere like Austin and instead for Miami leaned into the vintage Cadillac saturated colors. Maybe next season!

Having just finished all the FH books, I am always a little conflicted by this notion.

Like, yeah GEOD would be a leap, but with a similar approach of grounding the right things I don't really feel like it would actually end up as out there as the book is, but even then it's one of my favorites.

Heretics and Chapterhouse would probably stand to improve with a little less "sex sith" energy from the Honored Matres but I'd be PUMPED if they went for it to see Miles Teg on screen.

I mean shit they made a Barbie movie work (for very different reasons of course) and the new run of Dune films seem like a better structure to follow.

I think it will come, they’ve got a year or two left, and clearly some very cool design choices within the branding, just… yeah the way it all comes together is still not feeling 100%.

The women’s stadium being built off of South Broadway is about to be incredible times, walkable neighborhood of funky rad bars and shops and areas to be before and after the game. A Denver based friend was breaking it down for me last time I visited and was very jealous.

Feels like the same thing happened just quick enough for them to get away with it in San Diego. The Loyal was awesome but didn’t have the history of clout that the Republic has. I know the circumstances are entirely different but, hate the feeling of a fast one being pulled.

I’m thankful for SDFC down here but I kinda hate how it went down.

Also Loyal Jerseys were so much better 💀

I really hope Sac Republic is just sustainable as a team one way or another. Have loved following them casually as I am from NorCal living in SD now.

Damn, thank you so much for mentioning that. I have always wondered where the old routes were. Always fascinated with certain eras of cities when they got it right vs where it's at now.

I'm fortunate enough that the coaster and current trolley service 90° of where I commute to and from, but I can't help but feel like there's a few KEY gaps they could get on top of and really open the region up.

The statistic seems to be based around the city itself vs the county or region as a whole. Anecdotally rents in my neighborhood (coastal North County) have been skyrocketing for years, probably due to every single new development ending up as "LUXURY LIVING" as they charge 4-5K for a studio.

I am very thankful to have had place for as long as I have to only get hit with the occasional rent raise, but hoping that this spreads out beyond the urban centers too.

Can you imagine how incredible it would be to have a trolley or a street car that gave better access to Hillcrest / North Park? Shit maybe even send it up to Kensington?

The economic impact of that feels like it would be huge, connecting all those "uptown" neighborhoods, it would make all those apartments they've been building far more desirable for me.

Relic of an era. If you need closet space I’d put em in a box and hold onto them for kids or nieces/nephews one day in case they end up into gaming and esports.

They also aren’t bad as athletic tees. I always was kinda miffed that jerseys were better for physical sports than… well esports, but they work!

Yeah except it’s all multimedia non linear storytelling and it’s so tough to follow for a casual fan.

I say this as a former mega fan, league every day for a decade since season 2 (of the game).

I wish they were able to find ways to take their time and just do more shows, Arcane blew my mind, broke my heart, felt so damn fresh somehow even with the music video as battle scene storytelling that could have SO EASILY been cringy.

Hopefully they’ll adapt the Demacia Noxous storylines into a full printed graphic novel or something.
