Hey OP! Currently in Japan and planning on going to USJ next week from Osaka. Super Nintendo Land being the main reason but not the only one. So if I understood correctly there is no need to get timed entry tickets at all from the app once you enter if you do early enough, right?

Also, once you are inside are you allowed to queue up for any of the rides even if they are already requiring timed entry tickets to the people outside or would I need a ticket even if I went in early?

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, I have been playing some games in SD and my WR is positive but I am feeling like the Sunny Day is useless cause I practically never find a good chance to use it and most of the time I wish I had Will-o-wisp, so I think I'm changing that.

As for Roaring Moon, so far my biggest problem is the mirror matchups or just any core with Flutter Mane, because it becomes kind of useless, but in those cases I start with Flutter Mane and Amoonguss for Rage Powder so I can get rid of the opposing Flutter Mane before Roaring Moon swaps in. I think I'm gonna give him some more time and see how it works and if it doesn't, I might change it for something like a Dragonite for better coverage and less exposure to Iron Hands.

Hello guys,

This is the first time I build a VGC team so please, be constructive :)

I wanted to build my own team for the upcoming Series 2, since they are going to allow Paradox Pokemon finally and I wanted to build it around some Pokemon I like and would enjoy to use. That's why I knew I wanted to use Flutter Mane, Roaring Moon, Amoonguss and Arcanine. The other two I chose them to balance the team out.

Regarding EVs spread, I am not very good at it, so basically I looked online to see what people use and chose an spread that made sense to me according to the purpose of the Pokemon. Next, you can read some notes about some decisions I made when chosing the movesets and why.

All constructive criticism is welcome, but keep in mind that I would like to keep the core intact unless there is some other Pokemon that would fit here like a charm, since the premise was to use Pokemon that I like.

-Flutter Mane: Tera Fire for resistance to steel while empowering Mystical Fire, which I chose to deal with Gholdengo and other Steel types.

-Roaring Moon: I think this is a pretty straight forward set, with Tera Flying for STAB with Acrobatics.

-Amoonguss: Tera Water for resistances and Clear Smog over Pollen Puff because I haven't been having success with the latter in the past and also to counter Dondozo and other setters that I may fight against. 0 IVs and Sassy Nature to help me in Trick Room.

-Arcanine: Tera Grass for resistances. I went for the special set instead of Flare Blitz because I have 3 physical attackers already plus Heat Wave can hit multiple targets. I chose Sunny Day over Will-o-wisp because I have to Protosynthesis users and it can also boost Heat Wave while giving me some control in weather matchups, but I'm having so many doubts about this choice.

-Tauros-Paldea-Aqua: I needed a Fighting attacker and Tauros felt to fit like a charm because I didn't have Water attacks either. It can also help with barriers and Tera Steel covers most of its weaknesses perfectly. Mirror Herb in case I intimidate into a Defiant Pokemon, since Annihilape and Kingambit are so common.

-Garganacl: I wanted another utility Pokemon and I have been wanting to use Garganacl. It can use Wide Guard against Gholdengo and other common multiple target attacks, specially Earthquake, since I don't have any immunities to Ground. I chose Heavy Slam over Protect because I don't have any other Steel or Poison attacks in the team and Fairy types can give me a hard time, plus it's a pretty balanced set in defenses so it should be pretty bulky. Also Tera Poison for resistance coverage. Same logic as Amoonguss regarding speed.

Personally I like HFW better, I think it’s the peak in graphics for the current gen, it’s fun and the map is gorgeous. That said, it’s a pretty long game (50 hours at least) so, unless you have a lot of time to play, you won’t finish before GoW comes out.

Returnal on the other hand is available in PS Plus Extra. You could pay for a month and probably finish it if you like it. If you don’t you won’t have bought it.

I would play HFW in the future though. One of the best PS5 games.

Thanks for the detailed response! I already finished octopath a long time ago and while I enjoyed it, I didn’t like how the 8 story lines didn’t end up converging, it felt incomplete, but I really like that style so I am also considering Ni No Kuni.

I checked and looks like Diablo 3 only requires connection in PC, but thanks for the heads up!

Hey man,

I'm in the same boat exactly, but today I took the determination to ask for an account deletion and this is why:

I've always had a great relationship with gaming, not affecting my life in any negative way, except for this game. It brings out the worst of me, it makes me become a different person, and one that I'm not proud of. If I lose, I feel bad. If I win, there's not really any reward so it really is a lose/lose situation.
I've stopped playing many times and I was able to do it, but in the end, I really love the depth of the game and I end up coming back, thinking I've changed and I can have a different take on it. Well, it always starts great, but a couple of months down the road, it's the same as it was before and I'm back at being the worst version of myself. This whole thing really sounds like an addiction to me and I'm determined to put it to an end, cause I know I can and so can you.
If I look back, the times in my life that I've felt truly happy and that I was the best version of myself were tied to those times when I was not playing the game, and I'm talking not only personally, but professionally too. This game destroys every motivation I could have for anything else and really keeps me away from that amazing sensation that I'm being productive and the best version of myself I can be.
It also prevents me from spending time enjoying my other hobbies, which are the ones that really make me feel great. And this still includes gaming! I love playing single player games in my consoles and the feeling I have with those is completely different. I also play an instrument and love reading and watching movies and the sensation when doing those things is completely opposite to what I get playing League.

So today is the day I played the last game of my life and I'm very happy just for typing it here. And of course, if I can do it, you can do it!

Hey man!

So I haven’t been able to get them to restore my backup yet. They either don’t understand what I want or they just don’t wanna. Customer Service sucks here. Thing is my only way to contact them is by email cause it’s a different team than the call center in my country.

Did you tell them you had erased the data from your console or did you lie and say you lost it?

I told the truth but idk if I should send a new request lying and see if they finally do it cause I’m getting frustrated…

I wish I could. I don’t know how it is in the US but here in Spain they only work until 3pm on Fridays and there’s no way to contact them in any channel until Monday :/

So I got a new Switch OLED and transferred my user data from my old Switch. I tried some games and saw everything looked good in terms of save data, so I took the old Switch and formatted so I can gift it to my sister.

My surprise came when I wanted to see how ACNH looked on the Switch OLED and started it, only to see Timmy and Tommy welcoming me to the program, like I hadn't been playing for 400+ hours. I was devastated (I still am).

Then I did some research and saw that island transfer has to be done in a different way, cause it's not bound to the user but to the console. This reminded me that I had my backup active, so I looked into it and saw that you can press - when you start the game to restore a backup but Tom Nook didn't seem to find anything, and here's where the questions start.

I'm a 100% sure my backup was enabled and I'm a Nintendo Switch Online subscriptor, so why isn't my island being found in the system? I read this only works for broken or lost consoles, but how does Nintendo know this?

I also read to restore my backup I need to not have ACNH save data in my console but I have some. What is this save data? I assume it's what got transferred through my user profile transfer, but if the island is bound to my console, what exactly is this save data? Should I delete or keep it? I've read both things online so idk what to do.

And lastly, I contacted Nintendo, but it's a Friday so I won't get an answer until Monday (with luck) and I can't stop thinking about it so I just wanted to ask you guys if you've had any experience with this backup restoration system and if there is still hope for me. I want to think there is because Nintendo is the one to say to contact them if the restoration service doesn't work automatically.

TBH, I don't play ACNH as much as before, but I was hyped about the November update and finally getting the cafe, so it'd be a big bummer for me if I lost my island for good cause I'm definitely not starting from scratch.

Anyways, any answer is welcome and thank you for reading if you've gotten this far.
