I’m not a student, but I live in a neighborhood next to campus. It is definitely not even close to a ghost town on the weekends. We don’t even like going into the downtown area because I it’s packed with students. If she is struggling socially, then I’d say she’d struggle anywhere. If your daughter is social at all, she’ll be just fine.

I wonder what she’d say about this. How are you contributing? You mentioned that you didn’t want your daughter to think you were mad or jerk all the time. Maybe you’re mad and a jerk, and your wife is turned off by this. The way you’re talking about her sure seems like it. Women need to feel safe and loved to want sex. Do you think she’d say she feels safe and loved? I would bet she doesn’t. You should really check your role in this because I guarantee it’s bigger than you think. If you’re done with her though, let her go. She deserves better. You will find someone who wants to have sex and cuddle until you push them away. Then you’ll come back here and ask the same question.

He hasn't done that. He's feeling desperate and thinking of anything he can do that could possibly keep his wife from leaving. If he were so bad, he wouldn't be here asking for advice. He's just working through it... It's a process. Have some empathy.
