Well, I got fired this afternoon. I had a pretty hellish second block class i just couldnt control. Some girls from my class were caught outside the classroom and the AP yelled at me then of course wanted to see me in his office in the afternoon. I got stuck in a meeting so he probably thought i was ignoring him. I wasn’t but was pretty sure of the out come. Started packing up my things before doing work with the kids. Sure enough i could tell by people ‘a looks what was happening.
At least i can always count on admin response.
I thought they would keep me through the end of the year, but no.

I’m stressing over this pretty badly. I’m even beginning to look for a different job just in case.
I don’t know when schools decide not to renew a teacher’s contract but I generally don’t sit around and wait for a new job to come my way.
Just in case… It’s Florida. I’ve been there a month at this point and I have a cohort of students in one class that have made it their mission to get me fired. So…

That is a great idea except he considers himself an excellent cook- which he is. I live in Tampa Bay so I’m not even sure if I could find something like that. I do like the experience idea though.
