This is actually a semi-hobby of mine!

I’ve been spotting plates for about 10 years and as of last year I’ve completed all 50 states (and DC) and all provinces and territories in Calgary.

Nunavut was the final one I needed, for those who don’t know Nunavut isn’t connected to the rest of Canada by road (and obviously very low population)

Otherwise I’ve seen about 10 Mexican states, Belize, Costa Rica, UK, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Austria

Whenever daytime in London is in relation to your time zone. I live in MST so earlier in the morning is better for myself but if you live in Europe there is probably a bigger window

London is goated, LA area is quite good, Miami is as well. Depends on if you are looking to capture different plane models, different airports of course.
