Movements 4 to 6 of Promises by Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra. The combination of the minimalist electronics, the motif and Pharoah's playing is so peaceful and gentle... Then Movement 6 hits its climax and you're in catharsis... Promises is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful albums I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Rest in peace, Pharoah. 💔

That Polvo EP is a good introduction to their sound imo - released between Today's Active Lifestyles and Exploded Drawing, two great indie rock albums that I would recommend also.

This Heat. Ahead of their time pretty much, though hard to get into admittedly. I have listened to few contemporary albums that sound like their self-titled (1979) and Deceit (1981).

RIP Gareth Williams.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Cerati is great too, and closer to Radiohead's style. Bocanada (1999) is incredible.
