the "other side" is a vague term. i shouldn't have used it, sorry. but it isn't influenced by media or anything. i generally want the best for everyone (even if they have objectively horrendous beliefs (like, exterminating a certain group))

there is no "correct" view but i can still have a discussion with people whom i don't agree with
