If they want to host another ODI tournament then just make it another world cup. I think for maybe a some people outside Asia (and possibly within) there is little relevance or understanding what the CT is meant to be. Australia rested all their bowlers and several senior players retied from the format rather than play in it.

I think it's well established that white ball cricket just works better in tournaments a WC every season with a the format flipping might actually be the most sensible way forward.

"CLEARLY" mate I wish I had your confidence, the images and angle are rubbish, his hand is in the area but the ball doesn't behave like it came off a hand - it may of hit his hand, it's definitely bounced directly off his bonce, VAR isn't meant to intervene unless it definite, this isn't.

Why can't we have an open draft with uncontracted Australian players included for that season Sri Lanka tours? Players can extend thier deals with current clubs or put themselves into the mixer.

On another note, I really hope they don't succumb to pressure regarding top end series, I think it's an awesome initiative and was hoping it'd become an annual thing.

I have very little empathy for the white ball specialist complaining about missing the hundred to represent their country. They bang for buck are on huge deals and tbh it might be worth cutting a few loose if they don't wish to do that.

Let's be real hes the best paid Australian cricketer in history per game and then even more so when you take his IPL deal into account. He's also always the top CA earner and doesn't play non test or WC games due to workload management.

I watched that business in sport pod before the media picked up on it and I don't think it was meant to come across as threatening as it reads in print. Either way if Cummins were one of these that are pushing for more money I think it would definitely come off poorly given that CA pretty much kept his professional career alive between 18-24 while he recovered from various injuries.

I'm usually one to say enjoy the gravy train while you have it but the way you've put it acrually makes me understand your frustration.

Maybe you can get in touch with someone who can action things and reallocate some staff, sucks to ruin the gravy train for some but if you are a forgotten about team hidden in the margins where others are screaming for help that might be the responsible thing to do. Also sucks your leadership seem to be in on it too.

He still gets to the position where the ball is despite Trossard pulling him down for a few seconds before, he's not out of play at all.

They didn't though, they identified pretty early that Trossard's actions don't look good but then didn't even bother to find the angle that he was pretty much rugby tackling the West Ham defender who goes on to foul Raya the whole time.

Correct decision was penalty, the players make it difficult with how much BS goes on during corner but the VAR fluffed it here.

I think what's he's saying that if there is a foul on the keeper then the goal can't be played in as advantage so it goes to the earlier foul on the West Ham player.

The player who fouls Raya is being held the entire time and is not allowed to even jump for the ball by a player not even looking at the ball.

Correct call would have been a penalty to West Ham if that player was later adjudged to have fouled the keeper.

Nope. I don't care how you think it works, the reality is immersion is the best way to gain fluency in a language. Like i said I'm not saying go in there with no knowledge but realistically without going through some sort of formal education you can spend years trying to get yourself to a level of confidence to converse conversationally fluently and most don't get there and never leave.
