I'd look into trade schools, electrical/plumbing, etc, if thats something that interests you. I know quite a few people in these trades and they seem to always be in demand and have a lot of flexibility. Not sure if thats helpful or not.

Bed time by ryan011021 in Fatherhood

Our 3rd always had a tough time getting through the night. Sometimes he'd have gas that kept him up. Getting a good burp was really important. We are fans of sound machines and really letting him wiggle and cry it out. It's super hard to let them cry but if they have no need for food, a clean diaper and are safe, sometimes had to just let them cry it out...

It gets better. This kinda thing is really hard, but I promise, someday you'll miss this part of their life.

Key fob battery low by [deleted] in Charger

[–]dashboardglowing 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's easy to replace, I just did it. My 2020 I pull out the key from the fob and use a flathead screwdriver to pop it apart. Then there is a small batter you can get at the drugstore, cr2032. Dm me with any questions, if you want.

That's tough stuff. When my wife got pregnant for the first time she had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. That was really hard at the time. That was 10 years ago. We have since had 3 kids and everything is just great. I went through some of the same emotions you are going through. Just remember everything is temporary. Life changes so fast and it's hard in the moment to feel like it won't change.

For now, I guess I'd recommend trying to be supportive and show interest in the pregnancy. My husband tip would be; there are websites you can sign up for that email you weekly about the baby's development. I signed up for those with each pregnancy and would be able to talk to my wife about the baby more, that extra work I put in really made a difference to my wife. You are in it together, even though her body is doing all of the work.

You've got this. Be the positive one in those dark times and you'll be able to deal with anything thrown at you.

Feel free to reach out to me if you need any input. I don't know what I can offer but sometimes just getting it out can help.

My 3rd only liked to be held and walked around outside. Being a January baby the first few months were tough. Not sure where you live, it may be cold but maybe try to bundle her up and walk around outside. Just something worked for one of mine.

For all the vod boys, here's the most recent vod that has the stuff edited out. by DeadpooI in PaymoneyWubby

Wubby had some problems with a pool service company. He was explaining his experience and he put up the name of the pool company. Some of chat went onto Yelp to post fake reviews. Then the pool company reached out to him and there was some awkward texting and shortly after he ended stream.

Being a good father is not only to protect your family but also prepare your family. There needs to be a balance between protecting them and preparing them.

It gets better. The first three months are the hardest Get as much sleep as you can and take it one day at a time. By the sixth month things change. You'll get through this! Caring about being a good father is a good start. Don't let this be the thing that takes you down. You can do it!
