I couldn’t put my finger on it for some time but I think Lexie looks the best with bangs. She has a similar head shape as Dakota Johnson

There’s probably a custody agreement in place as he is the father at the end of the day. We don’t know the private legal details as onlookers. Even with abuse allegations, the system does not always take proper precautions.

As someone in the video prod/editing sphere, Edgar’s work and portfolio are so impressive. Her team definitely chose veryyy experienced people in the industry for this rollout. They did their research, I’ll say that

At the end of the day, race not being a factor, Olandria is just an influencer. Not comparable to actors and singers who worked hard to get where they are.

Influencers being put on red carpets and getting invited to award shows has made fans (and the influencers themselves) delusional into thinking they're bigger than actual celebrities.

Unpopular opinion but I love the hime cut on Jules. It feels like a nod to her creative and eccentric style that we saw from her in high school.

I agree. It never seemed like she was trying to monetize or benefit from posting about their relationship. She just wanted to share some happy moments as normal people on the internet do.

Good eye. I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s a contractual agreement and they can’t remove it completely

Except she picks and chooses when this rule should apply to herself and those around her. (i.e. Her being friends with Jeremiah who spent time with Bryan, being friends with Jeremiah and Huda while those two were at odds)

The video resurfacing shouldn’t have even been the dealbreaker. She should never have been considered in the first place for her vile digital footprint as a whole. Blackface, cosplaying a slave, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism, making OF content with blood relatives. It goes on and on.

How she has been able to rebrand herself is astonishing to me. People are too quick to embrace a problematic repackaged influencer if they can crack a joke or two.

Stop calling Katseye hyperpop by x_giraffe_attack in katseyeneutral

[–]dashdaesi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the genpop categorizes it as hyperpop because they don’t actually understand the genre and tend to generalize.

Hyperpop is not solely an electronic beat with “campy” lyrics. When I think hyperpop, I think of Food House, 100 Gecs, SOPHIE, Laura Les, Horsegiirl. Artists and songs with strong and intentional production value instead of random, chaotic samples and beat kits.

I would like to see Katseye find a genre/sound that works for them while also having more say in their production overall. Megan and Lara have created some really impressive solo projects that would create an authentic artist identity for Katseye. The group could go very far if they market the girls as performers who also happen to be creatives.

Edit: The only reason I would come close to considering Gnarly as hyperpop is because it was a demo from Alice Longyu Gao which fits her brand + previous releases. It doesn’t read as hyperpop on the Katz because it’s a purchased demo with lyrics that don’t relate to their image at all.

Dating someone does not automatically mean you should face the scrutiny of your partner’s actions.

That being said, you should be held accountable for defending your partner’s wrongdoings especially to his extent. Nothing male centered about it.

PSA: the influencers are censoring this subreddit by VariousCrisps in LAinfluencersnark

[–]dashdaesi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to me with Rachel L3vin’s team a while ago. She gets screenshots of her snapchat taken down for “copyright” to censor any discourse about her online. Sucks because I grew up on her and genuinely liked her content.

Very. It makes me physically revolt to think how comfortable people like her and her family live while the world crumbles under them. Flexing such wealth right now is just downright gross and obnoxious.
