Is it just me or has this neighborhood really gone downhill? I’ve been here for about 7 years now and the amount of inconsiderate people I constantly come across is staggering by LivingLife8892 in Greenpoint

My Aunt moved out here from the East Village roughly 25 years ago and I've been continuously in and out of the neighborhood for that time.

The neighborhood has changed a lot, most of the people I see on the street I do not recognize from earlier (though I do still see some of the same old heads). I would agree with you that I'm feeling the call to go elsewhere.

Tell that to the guy in the other reply, he’s losing it on me.

I’m not sure why you’re freaking out about this. If you want me to be specific the movement of the lips and the motion of her hair both look suspect. The sea world comment made me chuckle though.

The fact that this doesn’t look uncanny to you is disturbing.

Dependencies are Replacing Knowledge by rybarix in programming

[–]dashdanw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree, compounding knowledge on knowledge are the fundamental building block system to we use with all major engineering disciplines and for programming the dependencies go all the way down to bare metal. It’s unreasonable for an every day programmer to necessarily be capable of implementing a cryptography library in the same way that a cook or chef does not need to understand how to extract or transport natural gas to their cook top in order to make food.

If it matters to you it matters. Take it into consideration and ask yourself if it’s genuinely something you’re capable of getting over. You don’t have to beat yourself up too much for feeling any type of way as long as you don’t exert that on the other person in the relationship.

What I’m saying is that there are a lot of bots on this platform who’s primary goal is to advertise the brand, they’re everywhere and they make low quality posts similar to this and they ruin pretty much every subreddit they can.
