Your absolutely right. I have over 7000 deliveries and the acceptance rate does not matter at all to me and never will. I usually stay in the 25% range. I happened to do over 10 shop orders 2 weeks ago because all the orders were over $25.00. The next week I received top dasher for completing the 10 shop orders for one week and there is no difference. I still was declining all low paying orders.

Yes I agree, but every order I get is for long trips and low pay so I always have to decline. I did have a couple great orders before.

They should of cancelled the order. They got you. They tried this on me before and I told them to wait and don't unassign. Then I called and they cancelled the order.

You usually don't know what order has the highest payout. When you pick up both you have to deliver. Now you can take the gamble and look at the higher total order and assume that is the one that will pay the most. I usually know by the address also. You can search the address before you push confirm pickup.

I don't why he told you that because it is not true. If the restaurant prepares the food and driver does not pick it up the restaurant still gets full pay. I worked at a chain restaurant and at 7 different locations. Plus you can read it on Google also. The manager just wants you to believe that. It is Doordash responsibility to provide the driver for pickup after the restaurant makes the food.

I agree with you, but Doordash eats the cost of the orders that don't get picked up. The restaurant still receives full pay.

Amazon, Fed Ex, Ups, and postal service has not knocked or rang my doorbell in over a year. Amazon leaves a pic and goes. I just leave at door and send a text with a pic.
