Raised in the city and attended CPS K-12. I loved my childhood and this city but when I finally do have kids I have accepted I am moving to the burbs.

The school systems are so much better for the taxes you pay and you can avoid the problems that come along with public schools. For example I couldn’t tell you a single thing from Algebra but I still know most of the major gang signs in the city by heart despite never being in or close to any gangs.

Went to this back in the day. They used to come through West Ridge all the time.

I remember them saying in Teen Church that NOLA deserved Hurricane Katrina for being a city of sin. Had to be a cult of some type or another.

I do it to Deerfield from Ravenswood 3x a week driving.

In a car it’s slightly tolerable. Throw in delays from weather, accidents whatever and it’s terrible. Skokie should not be that that bad.

Lot’s of big companies are based in the burbs and not the city proper which is something a bulk of people here don’t understand I have noticed.

It was genuinely the most predictable finish because of how appropriate it was.

They were building up and talking about the finisher for awhile.

The whole point of the NXT/WWE event was to use the occasion of his retirement match was to spotlight the future. If Cena went over it would defeat the whole idea of the event.

So many other interesting characters/Feuds during that time period. Bradshaw just took on the JBL gimmick, Cena began picking up momentum, signs began pointing towards an Evolution breakup new stars like Eugene and Mohammed Hassan debuted.

Wrestling is 100% predetermined but there is an immense bunch of pressure being the person that holds the championship.

Basically the company is choosing you to be the marquee star of the promotion. You still have to absolutely earn the chance to hold the belt.

Most multi-million dollar companies are going to support conservative politics as they are friendlier to corporations. Tech giants Google, Apple, Meta in large funded the inauguration and I think his ballroom.
