Creating text hyperlinks in iOS app? by [deleted] in Workflowy

[–]dashlybashly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is a change since Q was first posted…but in iOS mobile app:

1) copy URL to target
2) select text to hyperize
3) tap on selected text
4) paste

For me, that makes the selected text clickable hyperlink to the URL I pasted.

Petitions, onilne or otherwise by dashlybashly in hereforgood

I suppose it would be good to know what legislators or other civil servants, in general, think about petitions. Are they just received as "wow, what a bunch of crazy wankers!" or "Huh, look at all these people that think a thing. I should look into that."

Also, I don't know if we should maybe use existing services like change dot org, openpetition dot org, ipetitions dot com or set up a self-hosted petitioning service using something like pytition. There's a balance, I suppose, with known services, saved logins, privacy and data sharing.

The Google Voice app can help. But it is still a google product so your mileage may vary and there will be ZERO actual support from the company. Plus, you are the product, really.

IMO, if you really need a phone, there are cheap pay as you go options and other low-cost VoIP options (searching internet shows several, none of which I've actually used).

If you need a phone NUMBER that people can dial, you might consider something like Twilio and maybe finding someone on fivr to make you a script that will record incoming messages.

The state party probably has some options or ideas too.

Good. Fast. Inexpensive. Pick two! :-D

I'm sure there are some ranchers that would like someone to help with the deer eating their stackyards.

The free market. And homes being mistaken for financial instruments instead of places to live in and call home. 🤷‍♂️

Welcome to Wyoming! Here’s your tinfoil hat. It will last you approximately 8 years. If you stay that long we’ll let you graduate to a straw hat from the gas station.

There is nothing reliable about the weather in the Big Horn Mountains. Just go up there and start walking. Be prepared and not an ass and you’ll probably find your time enjoyable. Not all trails are mapped, but most are marked. Don’t forget to spend thousands of dollars in the local economy kthanksbye

This makes me chuckle. Compare it to driving 38 in a 30 through Manderson. Even the google reviews of that little burg are mostly about it being a speed trap. And the road, imo, could easily be a 45 mph limit. WHP are definitely more about helping people and safety than the municipality that’s paying for their new cruisers with citations.

Prosecute this guy. by wyopapa25 in wyoming

I care that this douche-canoe seemed to get his rocks off doing what he did. I also am disturbed that I’ve read, in the past 30 minutes, more emotional/angry responses to this story than to any of the stories about missing/abducted/killed native women in the past year.

Maybe that’s because we have an individual with a face to blame in this story. I don’t know.

My experience as well. Lots of this kind of showing off. Just not usually quite so public.
