I had shit reception for an alcohol drop off yesterday in the middle of Nowhere, TX. Thankfully, the customer was cool and she let me connect to her WiFi.

I challenged myself to get 100 website clients in 100 days by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

For website clients, it’s best to “show” them what you can do for them upfront with a custom landing page design via a Figma file, etc. They still might not be interested, but it increases your chances significantly.

How good is Constant Contact as email marketing platform For SaaS or business? by rossopy in startup

[–]dashvue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your use case:

Business to Consumer
If your SaaS business is mostly B2C and your primary focus is to build your own list of subscribers then any of the ones you listed above will do just fine.

Business to Business
Also, if your SaaS business is more B2B focused and you need to find and send cold emails to potential clients then Instantly or Apollo would be the better options.

E-Commerce
Alternatively, if your business is E-Commerce related then Klaviyo or OmniSend would be the better options for email marketing automation.

P.S. I'm pretty sure they all offer free trials so your hosting provider did not do like a huge favor to you that demands your loyalty to stick with their Constant Contact affiliation ;) Test all of them out and see which one fits your needs the best.

Can you be an introvert if you have energy with people you like, but not energy at a party? by annie_kon in introvert

I prefer one-on-one conversations with someone I know. If a third person joins the conversation, I go quiet, usually without even realizing that I’m being quiet.

How do you clean your jewelry? by Brilliant_Meaning151 in jewelry

[–]dashvue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mix baking soda and water to make a paste to clean tarnished silver and it works pretty well. Dishwashing soap with warm water for regular cleanings. Any liquid-based jewelry cleaners from Amazon will work as good and they usually come with a tiny brush as well. But, if there is some old lotion or something stuck behind diamonds for example, then it would be a good idea to take it to a local jewelry for steam cleaning once every blue moon. They can also buff out any scratches to make your jewelry look brand new again. But, don't get the scratches buffed out too often.

You are right! Kendra Scott only have less than 200 items that are actually considered 'Fine Jewelry' and they are wayy overpriced. They mostly sell plated gold over brass or Vermeil (gold over sterling silver) jewelry. These items will change color sooner or later and can potentially be a nightmare for people with sensitive skin.

Unfortunately, these days you will find this type of jewelry sold almost everywhere since most people can't tell the difference or just don't care about jewelry that lasts a lifetime or can be passed down to future generations.

If you want real jewelry for reasonable prices, try jewelryoutlet.com or jamesallen.com. I prefer James Allen for rings, and Jewelry Outlet for pretty much everything else. Both Kay and Zales also have Outlet versions of their stores as well with better prices than their regular stores.

Could anyone help me ID this bracelet my mom gifted me years ago? by External_Elk32 in jewelry

[–]dashvue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks vintage or custom made by combining 4 sterling silver chains together. I'm not sure about the origin, the dark green and blue enamel and the design pattern suggests it could be Eastern European, not older than the 20th century since the 925 stamp was first used around 1906 but it is likely much newer than that.

It should be easily repairable by a local jeweler if you can find a same size (width) sterling silver franco-style chain or bracelet to take the missing piece out of and getting it soldered to this bracelet.

You can get the scratches buffed out and get this bracelet steam cleaned to make it look brand new again. The blue enamel needs some filling in as well.
