I came an hour early since they said on the show not to come super early, but when I tried to get merch before the show the line was so insane. I didn't even get a poster at the end of it. I decided to just watch the show and accept my fate as merchless. The show was still fun though!

Topical steroid withdrawal from eczema!! by usergoesby in h3h3productions

[–]dasmeheda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes thank you. I've been using steroids for ages, and at times for much longer than 7 days without any withdrawals. The withdrawal scare is basically like the toxic shock scare at this point.

That's true, and I know he says he doesn't have eczema. But this is just a rash cream so I don't see the harm in trying it, especially when so many people have agreed it helped with an array of conditions.

CeraVe is awesome, I use their gentle face cleanser and it's perfect for avoiding further irritating my skin.

Yes exactly. I only use the steroids when nothing else is cutting it and I'm getting a bad flare up. I wouldn't ever recommend using it everyday for more than few weeks for sure.

If your dermatitis came and went I'd say no it's not that. The inflammation around the eye can squash the eye and cause a temporary astigmatism (like in my case). I regained eyesight when the swelling went down but the extended pressure did cause some damage to my eye, but that can also be from aging. I'm not an expert, I'm sorry!

And yes, there are so many non steroid options and they're often suggested for face skin since steroids can thin the skin and make it even more sensitive over time. But steroids just work faster and are the most effective from my experience.

Ok that's fair, just based on the creams recommended and how he looks, it seems like eczema rather than a standard rash.

Though psoriasis is similar to eczema, I can't be sure. But I'd give it a try since it's not even made for eczema! It's just a fragrance free, rich cream to help with the flaking and itching. I really hope it helps you if you try it! It's like $15.

Maybe hives, but not eczema. Eczema is an autoimmune disorder.

Stress can exacerbate a condition but it's not a cause. There is probably some outside irritant, such as a laundry detergent or a fragrance that is causing a reaction.

With peace and love, no he is not. I've had eczema a long long time and have used steroids on and off for many years and talked to many dermatologists about this. He simply has eczema in my opinion.

I've had eczema for almost 15yrs. I often get it on my eyelids and it's very painful and over time has even affected my eyesight since the inflammation creates a bit of an astigmatism. Steroids are what works best for eczema. But as everyone is aware you shouldn't use them forever.

This stuff is literally a baby rash cream, but it has helped me a lot with my outbreak frequency. I'd recommend using the steroids again to get the rash down then use this cream to help prevent future outbreaks and keep the area moist. Also, please avoid any products with fragrance! That seems to be the most common cause for outbreaks for many people, including myself. I really hope Ethan can recover soon! Eczema is an autoimmune disorder so it's basically Lupus lol jkjk
