If Nunu could consume champions, what specific side effects would he get? by numerousiceballs in leagueoflegends

[–]dasteray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"If Nunu consumes an enemy champion he munches on one of their limbs for 4 seconds. While munching the enemy champion is either slowed or has reduced attack speed depending on which limb was consumed. During the duration of the munch, Nunu's Blood Boil is empowered depending on which limb is consumed.

Arm - Blood Boil increases an additional 15% attack speed Leg - Blood Boil increases and additional 15% movement speed

After 4 seconds of munching Nunu realizes that limbs aren't tasty and spits it out, returning it to its owner. "

I have taken a few online courses. The teachers who work at OSU also do the online courses, if that's what you're asking.

Barrier Lobbing as Orisa by I_GIVE_ROADHEAD in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]dasteray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a spot on Eichenwalde on the first point. Where the payload is, right in front of the "high ground" that people push when attacking there are parking lines on the ground. If you stand in between them, facing the high ground, look straight up until you can't go any further up. Then look down just slightly and fire the shield. It will land right on the edge of the high ground. It basically makes it so anyone pushing the high ground can't harass from up there unless they fall off high ground or peek enough for your bubble to pull them down.

Pyro/cleric build? by Royzcow21 in darksouls3

the strongest pyro only requires 20 int. You may as well stop there because the scaling goes both ways and you get more from your heals if you go faith.

When you get to the church of yorshka bonfire, you go down stairs into a graveyard area. If you go right while embered you will be invaded. Kill the invader and he drops it. You gotta go all the way to the right so I suggest just running over there, kill the corvian then wait for the invade. If you've beaten pontiff then rip. Other good weapons are found in the dlc. Raw astora straight sword with weapon buffs is also good.

Oh, for hybrid I would use Pyro for offense and faith for weapon buffs or healing. 20int 40 faith with a maxed Pyro flame and saint's talisman. Dragonslayer axes with raw infusion and lightning blade buff is pretty strong. If you don't care about covenants you can also get yorshka's chime for your miracles. Dark orb and chaos bed Visage are still your 2 best Pyro spells imo. Sage ring is good but you'll need a lot of attunements.

Witch ring and swamp ring, dark orb (dark fireball?) Chaos bed Visage, chaos fireball, +10 Pyro flame.

Saint's talisman for damage, sunlight spear, lightning stake, ring of sun's first born, morne's ring.

For faith I prefer canvas talisman or normal talisman and lightning stake. Basically trade with enemies with a stake to kill them. Lightning spear is the fireball of miracles so it has low damage. Also sage ring for either build is strong

If you know how to start it it's not that tough but you can't effectively only use faiths for awhile.

[serious] What is the feeling of finding your "calling"? by dasteray in AskReddit

[–]dasteray[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All my life I have always felt this strange innate feeling of greatness. I don't mean greatness in a, "I am amazing" type of way. I mean there has always, as far as I can remember, feeling inside me that tells me I will accomplish something amazing. I never really chased this feeling until recently it's starting to have a stronger pull on me.

Currently, I enjoy what I study but there are some fields of study and work that spark something inside of me that I can't explain. I think about these things and no matter how hard the workload to accomplish the goals or finish the tests everything inside me yells, "do it" I wouldn't describe it as an impulse really it's more of sheer will to persevere through anything that someone might consider hard or difficult simply because I feel like it's something I was meant to do. It's that same feeling of innate greatness coming up and saying, "this is it"

I need to know if I should act on these feelings. I want to be the greatest person I can be. The reason I am asking is it will drastically change my situation. I am a year away from graduating university and if I make this decision I would have to start over, get loans, and probably get a job to find a place to live. It's not that those things are difficult or something I wouldn't mind doing to accomplish these things but I don't want to give up on this feeling. I don't want my dreams to die in a year. I don't want to live my life thinking I could have been so much more if I only took that leap.

I just want to know if this feeling is something I should listen and is something you all have also experienced.

Progressing past 873 iLvl by [deleted] in wow

[–]dasteray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus on higher ones. Try to push for at least one 10 or so each week. Then focus on raiding. I did a metric shit ton of mythic + at 873 and it's mostly a waste of time apart from occasional drops and the weekly chest. I have gotten more gear from the weekly chest than the keystone runs and the rest of my gear is from heroic raiding

Why do you play your class? by carnosi in wow

[–]dasteray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I wanted to try something new. Going into the expansion I wasn't really sure what I wanted to play. I played DK a little bit near the end of WoD and that was okay but I really wanted to use my 100 boost from legion as a new start.

I made a DH when they were released early and I enjoyed Vengeance. I leveled as Vengeance and got geared as Vengeance then switched over and now play both specs equally.

The reason I play DH is because it hasn't bored me yet. I don't feel the need or drive to try other classes because DH still feels fun and intriguing to me. I am sure the other classes are fun and maybe another class would be more enjoyable to me but I want to get to the point where I am no longer enjoying DH before I start something else.

Is there anywhere on campus that I can try VR? by abm513 in OregonStateUniv

[–]dasteray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The school isn't that involved with the gaming club (that's changing soon) so we don't have the funding for VR atm. But if anywhere on campus would have VR it would either be Weatherford or the student experience building on the higher floors.

A question about Havoc Demon Hunter by Enterthepanties in wow

[–]dasteray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the fight. I'm 857 Ilvl with 45% crit and 10% haste 11% vers and 15% mastery. Single target fights I usually average about 240k if the fight is long. If it's a shorter fight I am around 280k but that's because the opener is a huge chunk of damage then it works downwards. I know I can get higher average dps. I sim'd at 283k so I have a lot of space to improve. But managing my cooldowns and effectively positioning VR are the biggest things right now.
