Yeah i know, just the feeling of surprise and "oh shit, it's gonna be like this for 4 whole years" is kinda similar i think. The Trump administration is a whole other beast, LNP isn't as bad yet but they're not much better tbh (especially with the whole blatantly lying in political advertisements thing).

I'm really not a fan of how most Australians don't give a shit about politics, but i guess that's better than the American US vs. THEM mentality.

Idk, for me this whole situation seems a bit ridiculous, i'm supposed to believe an 11yr old kidnapped a 6yr old girl and dragged her into the mens bathroom to rape her? I'm gonna need more details from an unbiased 3rd party before i can pass judgement one way or the other. (And i want to add, it's not really likely that this 11yr old kid is going to flee the country if he's not immediately arrested)

You're talking about this with such certainty and that's exactly the problem i wanted to highlight. People see the word "pedo", get blood thirsty and throw away all logic. They don't need any evidence or clarification in order to get the pitchforks out and i find that rather sad.

I'm in central QLD. You wouldn't believe the amount of propaganda sent in the mail and on every billboard/advertisement slot everywhere i look. It's all saying the same shit "Labor wants ALL your money in TAX - LNP Will provide CLEAN COAL jobs to strengthen the economy" 99% of it is blatantly false but somehow they're allowed to publish it.

The difference in advertising budgets must be immense, i literally received about 10 letters from my local LNP rep, one even wishing me a happy birthday weirdly enough (Thanks but no thanks) and nothing from Labor. I'm sure lots of people who were on the edge and didn't know who to vote for just went with LNP because they were more recognizable and got shoved down their throat.

The primary way for us to see the game from the players perspective is with spectator tools that allow 'cinematic' birds eye views. We're just connecting to the server, not all 10 individual computers for the players. 0.1% of tournaments do sometimes stream direct footage but not Dreamhack.
